So barring a weird error when exiting the program, my old Rollercoaster Tycoon CD actually works on my Windows 10 machine (Windows XP Compatibility mode, it seems I can't go back farther than that). To be honest, I haven't actually saved any scenarios yet though.
And as a laugh, the Hasbro Interactive registration screen that pops up after the install looks ancient. XD
One pair of bills, House Bill 2686 and Senate Bill 3024, would prohibit the sale of any game featuring a system wherein players can purchase a randomized reward using real money to anyone younger than 21 years old.
The other two bills, House Bill 2727 and Senate Bill 3025, would require video game publishers to prominently label games containing such randomized purchase systems, as well as disclose the probability rates of receiving each loot box reward.
Also it looks like Hawaii will go one step beyond China and catch "The Overwatch Loophole". Basically when China slapped OW for lottery charges, OW got around it by having you spend money on a separate item, and getting a lootbox as a reward, instead of directly buying a lootbox.
Hawaii is making it so even indirect selling of these things to minors is illegal.
@Tyranexx
I have my brother’s old Star Wars PC games, Tie Fighter and X Wing.... I wonder if I can make them work with XP Compatibility mode, those things are old. I’d try the old Yoda Stories game, but it is on diskette and nothing read those anymore.
....Old Star Wars games...I used to have Galactic Battlegrounds. That was fun, especially the custom maps part. lol
Still hoping Episode I Racer shows up on Steam at some point.

Keep it PG-13-ish.
@Luna_110: It's hard to say, really. I've had mixed luck with old PC games back on Windows 7: Some worked fine without a hitch, some errored/bugged out halfway through, and a small handful wouldn't even run. It really seems to depend on the game and what makes it tick. Any game is worth a shot, but whether or not it will work....It can involve a dream, a slight headache, or a horror story. shrug
This is the first old game I've tried running on my new Win10 machine. I might try the original Zoo Tycoon collection sometime in the future since I also managed to track it down.
...And I also need to see if I can track down RCT2 at my parents' place.
Currently playing: Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana (Switch), Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Trials and Tribulations (Switch)
@Joeynator3000: Internet Archive has a MS-DOS library that includes Sim Ant (another great game, btw; I have a direct link but am unsure if it's against site rules) as well as a plethora of other games (Oregon Trail, Carmen Sandiego, Wolfenstein 3D, Sim City, etc.) It's all done by an in-browser emulator if you're comfortable with that. I've had few problems other than the occasional game that won't load correctly, though the controls and commands take a bit of getting used to at times.
The website is completely safe, and Internet Archive is recognized as a non-profit. It also has an Arcade library that I've tried out. I originally stumbled across it when using its Wayback Machine to look up how some websites used to look back in the day.

@ogo79 Pick me up at 7. I'll wear something sexy. Don't expect to get lucky though, I'm not that kind of guy.
7 is my lucky number.

As @ogo79 said, the SNS-RZ-USA is a prime giveaway that it's not a legit retail cart.
And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)
It's more about friendship in Finland as well. Literally translates to "friend's day". Back in grade school, there was this event every year where we'd have a heart shaped piece of paper around our necks and the goal was to get as many people to write their name (or sometimes you'd get something else) on that paper as possible. I wasn't really a fan. I was way too shy for the whole thing. I think I have at least one of those hearts stored somewhere, though.
It's its, not it's.
