Right now I'd have to say my favorites are Ryu and Frank West. Frank was a bit unexpected for me, and I wasn't really interested in using him, but once I did.. he's quite awesome.

I was going to buy this, checked the roster, no Ken... no purchase.

Yeah Ken is much cooler than Ryu

But you do get Ken the Eagle!!

Megaman Volnutt, Jun The Swan and Roll are my primaries. Sometimes I pull out Chunli, Ryu or Morrigan.

Hopefully the check comes in today so I can get it! Otherwise i'll have to wait till Monday...

I plan to use the Yatterman duo as my mains.

But no Ken Masters! Disaster.

Casshan is one of my favorites. I also really like Ken the Eagle and Batsu.

I have only tried 1/2 of the characters so far. I think that the game has done a good job in making them balanced.
Frank West exceeded my expectations and may end up as one of my favourites.
