So, we got some movie discussion in the "Unpopular Gaming Opinions" thread, so I figured we should probably have a separate thread for non-gaming opinions. Keep this on the subject of technology and media. We don't want to start flamewars about religion or politics.
I'll start with a couple of mine:
Argo isn't that special a movie. It's okay, but nothing more. Spider-man 3 has the best portrayal of Black Suit Peter Parker among all movie and TV media.
Chris Martin from Coldplay has a horrible voice. Like nails on a chalkboard
The iPad is a niche device that is best used by old people who have minimal use for a computer.
Breaking Bad's finale, "Felina" was the worst episode of season 5
The Dark Knight Rises was the low point for Nolan's Batman series. Bane couldn't stand up to Ledger's Joker, for the world's greatest detective he relied a lot more on brute force than his brains, although the action was better than in Begins. It was a great movie, but as a sequel to two much better movies it didn't seem all that great.
My SD Card with the game on it is just as physical as your cartridge with the game on it.
I love Nintendo, that's why I criticize them so harshly.

I think that's the consensus opinion isn't it DKR is the weakest of the 3 movies?
Rimmer: "Look, I think we've all got something to bring to this conversation, but I think that from now on the thing you should bring is silence."
Homer: "Oh people can come up with statistics to prove anything Kent. Forfty percent of all people know that."
Godzilla 2014 was a boring movie. Probably the worst one i seen this summer. Bryan Cranson was one of the only few things good about it and his character dies less than halfway in.
I enjoyed Age of Extinction more than Godzilla 2014.

Everyone I talked to said I was crazy for not liking the movie. The first time I watched it, I wished it hadn't been made. Then a couple months later I decided to give it a second shot and it wasn't as bad as I had remembered, but it was still pretty bad. It's grown on me a little, but I still think it's just an okay movie.

It's about unpopular opinions, not common as dirt. It would be like saying "Call of Duty sucks". To me it is a mixed bag - when it was good, it was pure brilliance, like all the Bane action, but when it was bad, it was Sanlder movie (not to be generic with the soap ending mention, but also catwoman was not only pointless, but also one ugly chick). At times it felt like 5 year old wrote it. It felt exactly like plot of Arkham City - one jumbled mess that doesn't pay off in the end, instead shoehorning everything from DCU.
Speaking of movies, I hated Iron Man 3 - other than like first act, it felt exactly like Phantom Meneace with how undecided, forced and uncertain it was.
I liked Kick-Ass 2 and don't understand all the hate towards it. Same with Spider-man 3 - it was little to short with Venom, but overall it wasn't as bad as people make it out to be.
Starwars Revenge Of The Sith was better than A New Hope, and Phantom Menace is better than Attack of The Clones.
Also The Clone Wars is FAR better than the earlier Clone Wars Cartoon,
Have a cookie. I also prefer Episode III to Episode IV. IV has really weak villains and the action is pretty awful. Most importantly, it has aged poorly, with a rather by-the-books story in today's day and age.
Though I'm pretty sure the consensus among Star Wars fans is that Episode I is better than Episode II. At least Episode I had some likable characters, a sad ending, and a badass fight at the end.
The Avengers while no where near a bad movie, is incredibly overrated. It had no plot, shameless product placement of Acura or whatever those cars were, and had lots of plot holes such as Iron Man not getting smashed to bits by Thor and Bruce Banner/Hulk being nothing like the character in The Incredible Hulk.
Also, anyone who doesn't listen to rock music has horrible taste.
Star Trek: Nemesis is the best of the TNG movies (driven by Tom Hardy's great performance, I was disappointed it killed the TNG movie series, although the cast were getting very old), Star Trek: First Contact is the worst (completely ignoring the evolution go the borg in the great TNG stories I, Borg and Descent, plus IMO Frakes isn't a very good director). I think I'm in the vast minority there.
Back to the Future 3 and Ghostbusters 2 weren't THAT bad.
I actually like the Nostalgia Critic's new videos. They aren't as good as the old ones, but they aren't terrible.
I kinda like Matt Smith a bit more than David Tennant as the doctor...
I actually kinda like Seth Macfarlane's shows.
Universal Studios is more of a giant advertisement than a theme park.
I just thought that Wreck-it-Ralph was okay.
See, it's hard for me to come up with ones because I mostly just pay attention to videogames. I don't watch any TV anymore, and I've only gone into a movie theater ONCE this entire year, and that was just because they were showing Ghostbusters.
There is nothing here...except for the stuff I just typed...

If you only see one film for the rest of your life it should be "Mickey Blue Eyes"
