Inheritance i can't wait! anybody got any prediction on the last egg and what might happen with Eragon
i heard Brom might come back to life, the Original Eragon was never specified to have died

no offense, but I read Eragon back when it first came out because everyone was raving about it, only to see that the dude had completely ripped off (oh, i'm sorry, he was inspired by) some of my favorite authors — Tolkien, Eddings, McCaffrey — and there's even some Star Wars up in there too. I think i laughed my way through it just because i'd paid for it (if it'd been a library book i'd'a just taken it back) and then i gave it to my brother.

he liked it, at least, so the money i spent didn't go to waste :3

Probably better moved to the Book thread. Unless you're talking about the movie too... in which case you have the worst taste in films ever, lol. I enjoyed the first three books. Not sure I enjoyed them enough to bother with the fourth one though. It got a bit 'eh' by Book 3 (although YMMV for the other two)

My best friends love Eragon. I read the first one and about halfway in the second one. It was alright. My buddies will freak out when the 4th one comes out. Though the movie sucked >_>

i made this a FAN thread not for people to say the do't like it i mean yeah you have your right the that opinion but everyone who has posted besides me is dissing on the series

People are allowed to discuss their opinions on these forums no matter what they are. If you are going to have an open forum you just have to accept that. With that said.

I only watched the movie never read the books but after watching the movie and seeing how much it reminded me LOTRO and other fantasy series I decided to pass on the books. The thing that makes me laugh is how talented they say the author is and how he was only 15 when he published the first book, yet as Black Dragon said and my friends who read the book you can clearly see that he took alot from other sources which to me isnt really talented at all.

i know as i said they have their right to their own opinion i'm only saying that because no FAN has commented its only been non-lovers

At least when it comes to this site. I know I posted a whose a fan of MMOs thread a while back on NL and it didnt go anywhere alot more disses than fans but thats just how it goes. If you are having no luck discussing what you like with other fans here, or finding other fans here than try googleing an Eragon fan forum to discuss what you like about the series there. I am sure you will get more yeas than neighs there.
