Topic: March Direct (Place your bets)

Actually, last year, they had a Direct every single month. It's just that a number of them were mini-Directs or had very little to actually announce. They may either be keeping a lower profile, this year, and only doing Directs when they have a lot to show, or they could do something, this month with Luigi and/or another Year of ____, but honestly, I don't think any of us will be buttered, if we don't get a March Direct, like some people did over the lack of January Direct.

Meh, I personality don't feel one happening this month, but if so then, whatever.

I'd say a 15 minute long Direct Mini on the 18th.

Also, no Year of _____ this time.

Didn't they already announce a year of Yoshi last time, or was I dreaming?

I think it will be on March 18, to end Luigi. But, I think that the they will not announce a new year of ____, but announce it on November. Why? Because Diddy Kong anniversary.

No direct this month. What could be shown that isn't coming to E3?

I bet for no Directs. Yoshi is around the corner, and they announced release dates up to May 30th. Then by that date they might as well wait for E3 to happen.

That's not going to happen. Last year, there were directs in March, April, and May. And the April Direct was MASSIVE. They're not going to wait for E3.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D. Although, that might be in an April direct.

EDIT: They introduce games before E3. It's not uncommon. Let's not already forgot Link Between Worlds....

Hmmmm....only the L button made use of the analog feature for ice, water or fire. Maybe they can map the buttons for L being a steady stream of the element, and ZL for a burst of it?

@CanisWolfred No, they didn't announce a Year of Yoshi. That's still just a rumor. Though, if we're gettng a March 18th Direct and no Yoshi reveal on March 14th, I bet we can guess the subject~

I could see a Direct around late April to early May, showing a little more MK8, along with Mario Golf and Kirby. Or even an indie Direct, as these months there are a lot of interesting titles coming that way.

Any big announcements will be kept for E3, unless Nintendo goes out of their way to grab headlines before E3 with a huge surprise. And with them it is perfectly possible.

I bet five internets it'll happen march 32nd.

March 18th as its my birthday, so obviously, the Big N knows this and will have a Nintendo direct dedicated entirely to me, in which they will announce that they have purchased the IP for Banjo Kazooie from MS/Rare and that its in fact what Retro studios have been working on.

I also like the idea of Luigi's Mansion GC being released on the VC to commemorate the end of the year of Luigi. Think my idea above is more likely though....

I'm pretty sure there's gonna be a Direct in May. May has Mario Kart 8 Direct written all over it.

Yeah there will be and its gonna happen when the Year of Luigi officially ends.

Whenever it is and whatever is contained within it, it will make no mention of when Super Mario Bros. 3 is coming to the NA eShop.
