rumple88 commented on Nintendo Provides Some Context to 2013's Tomod...:

@midnafanboy It's a life simulator that removed aspects of my life style, yes I care. Why? Because I think the game looks incredible and was really excited about it. It's ok to feel things and talk about it but maybe that's to much for some people which is also ok. Hope they fix this because I won't be buying until then.

Let's just ignore everything outside of hetrosexual partnerships? This isn't the answer Nintendo. There could have been a creative way to work around this and still give a nod to those of us who aren't so hetronormative. Probably not going to get this game now.

Really can't stand voice chat, maybe I need to try it more. But I think it's a love it or hate it sorta thing. Tried it with AC4, what I heard was a bunch of teenagers making noises and people speaking languages I couldn't comprehend.

Been loving castle storm, this will definitely help keep it fresh for many many more months. Zen studios is doing a great job with these eShop titles.

I have played a few of the other versions and must say the Wii U version seems more fluid and makes the game pad really shine. To me it's the best.

I really need to play both these games again. I remember the music being so horrible on the genesis version me and my friends would turn it all the way down and put the radio on but the graphics/animation and game play were allot better(I thought as a kid). I need to revisit to be sure since I didn't really own either but rented them multiply times. Forgot about these games.

Great game, I've been playing since it released. I have a question as a new 3ds owner. I want to buy this game but don't usually buy digital. What is the most secure way to go as far as SD cards, how big and what brand seems best? Can't wait to download the full version.

It's all about spin from PR firms it didn't matter as much 15 years ago because there weren't as many companies and platforms in the gaming world. The console business is still a shrinking piece of the pie. I just hope the dirty PR MS and Sony are deploying gets nintendo to play dirty and take the gloves off. Slow and steady wins the race but Nintendo needs to bust out the (snes) rocket launchers.

Actually doesn't surprise me because Japan isn't exactly DK country, sorry for the pun. But it's consistently twice as successful in numbers as a franchise in NA then Japan. Why wasn't this mentioned in your article, pretty important fact to just leave out. An example of this DK returns sales to date; NA 3.02m, Eur 1.62m, Japan 1.03m, Other regions 0.43m.

@Klimbatize

It's news because it's interesting and a great idea.

Theoretically if you decided to create a game and it was a creative and potentially really fun I wouldn't poop on your parade and call you a fraud for being a determined dreamer. Even if I knew you were that negative upset man from nintendolife.com.

I support ideas and projects that are cool. It doesn't matter what platform it's on indie, 3rd party, or AAA.

Stop tearing people down and go on a walk or something.

@JohnRedcorn

Way to be completely negative. You have to start somewhere and this is a great idea. Also last I checked the Wii U needed sports games.

Don't really know why your so butt hurt about somebody making a tongue-n-cheek football game and people paying attention to it.

rumple88 commented on Just 2% of Ubisoft's Q3 Sales Were for Wii U:

Maybe this has already been said but how many people bought just dance Wii for there Wii U because the Wii version was cheaper(over the holidays)? That's what my girlfriend did and I'm pretty sure most people don't care about HD just dance. So yeah allot of those just dance sales are most likely smart Wii U owners.

I love the game pad, no way. But somethings I would like to see to help build it's case. 1)The range increased for off screen play. 2) Vibrate notifications in addition to blue ring 3) Apps Facebook, twitter, google voice, seamless, pizzahut (come on reggie used to be the CEO), metacritic, yelp, allmusic, pandora 4) 3DS/DS adapter

@Ren DK is a huge series and the pre-orders alone for this game should tell you this is indeed a head turner. With a month away it's nearing 100k day one sales. I can tell you this game is one of the reasons I bought the Wii U in the first place.

@WaveBoy Sure mario 3d world didn't move 1mil units it's first week but it is currently the best selling Wii U game that wasn't bundled with the system. Even taking into account the bundled games it's in third place overall after only being out for a little over a couple months. But your right there was allot of click bait doom and gloom articles comparing numbers from past marios but the install base for the Wii U is still growing and incrementally so have to mario 3d sales. Much like DK, mario 3d is really making the Wii U worth having and it will sell a sh!t load for years to come. These games are masterpeices in my eyes.
