Topic: Longest Gaming Marathon?

What is the longest amount of time you've played a video game, and what game was it?
I would have to say my longest streak was about 8-10 hours as a kid when I was obsessed with Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories.

10 hours with my friends playing Spider-Man: Friend or Foe on the Wii. lol

I'm not sure; I usually get tired of games before playing them that long. However, when I got Pokemon Platinum for my birthday I spent the entire weekend (not straight, with many breaks) playing it.

When Golden Sun DS drops, however, I can see myself playing that for several hours straight without stopping. I'm even considering skipping school that day and just devoting the entire day to it.

Longest one in recent memory was Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen for DS. That would be...3 hours.

No. And it was closer to 11, actually.

@Odnetnin: I guess it's understandable, seeing as I enjoy swinging around New York for long periods of time in Spider Man 2 for GC.

My Wii said that i played Super Mario galaxy 12, 13 or 14 hours (I can't remember), i must have been doing something else while the game was on.

I would have long streaks but my body won't let me stay up late anymore. My longest streak is 10 hours playing Super Smash Brothers Melee with my roommate a couple of years ago.

I did around 10 hours on Super Smash Bros. Brawl the first day it was out. I unlocked a lot of stuff!

I'm not sure when my first Brawl streak ended. I don't even remember when I put my controller down

I had to go to bed early. I would have played much longer.

I've always wanted to have a marathon! But I always have something making it difficult for me: work, school, friends, parents, homework or sometimes I just get bored.

Oh yeah, I did Pit of 100 Trials in both Paper Mario TTYD and Super Paper Mario (both in SPM), on different days though.

Playing Super Mario World for about 12 hours and getting all of the Yoshi Coins and all of the secret levels and such...Getting 100% on that game takes sooooo long!
