Have you ever considered getting your own video server like IGN or GameSpot? Just saying, because my mom blocked off YouTube, so I can't watch any of the videos that you're posting. Thanks!

Why would your mom block Youtube? Too much wasted time watching video blogs and not enough doing homework?

Oh, so this is why I can't watch NL videos! Youtube is blocked on my computer too. My dad doesn't like the kinda stuff you can watch on YouTube. @NL I think you should listen to Atomic Wii Man, I and others hate not being able to watch videos on the site.

What's wrong with the stuff on Youtube? Apart from the sex, violence and mind-rotting debauchery, I mean.

The sex, violence and mind-rotting debauchery is mostly what's on there. And most of what I watched.

I was joking, Youtube doesn't allow any sexual content and it's easy to avoid the brainless junk on there.

So, what, you didn't catch any of the actually good stuff? No wonder they banned you. (That's also a joke btw. )

Like all the amazingly cute kitten videos! The 90s cartoon intros? The video game speed runs? Live performances of your favourite musicians? Speed painting time lapses? Recordings of music lessons? Interviews with inspiring people? Great Depression-era cooking recipes?

I hope your parents aren't like my Dad. If Youtube had existed back then, he would've blocked it without giving me a chance to explain. He also wouldn't have listened to me (he still can't be convinced that Fox News is tolerable when covering issues outside of politics).

@HolyMackerel Youtube does allow sexual content (I am ashamed to know that). And yeah, I caught the good stuff (I was joking when I said that was most of what I watched, it's sometimes really hard to tell when someone's joking over the internet).

@HolyMackerel - you forgot to mention that YouTube is a good place to listen to video game music (particularly the SNES music).

I meant explicitly sexual, not just sexual in nature. Well... if you're under 13 then you shouldn't be using Youtube anyway. I'm pretty sure that age limit it's part of the Youtube ToS.

I never knew about that. Everyone I know used YouTube when they were younger. I never had to affirm my age.

Never knew that...... but that bad thing is that I just turned 11.

@Toad Fan 101 Haha well it seems that Youtube isn't too strict about it. They probably leave it to parental discretion, so if your parents are okay with it then go ahead.

@LuWiiGi Youtube didn't exist when I was 13, so I never had that problem. O.o And there are no age checks except for when you sign up for an account or view a video which has been flagged as inappropriate.
