For me, either the one in the snow temple where you push the blocks around, or when you are about to get the Master Sword, those two statues split the ground into different pieces, and you have to get both of them on a specific piece at the same time. Both are from Twilight Princess.

I was about to list the same ones, but then I read your post, scribblenauter.

The Game.

Is it after 9PM EST? You should probably ignore the above post.

Figuring out how to beat the first two Zelda games when you suck at them. There's a puzzle I don't think I'll ever figure it out. D:

okay so that's not a puzzle, so sue me

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.

Zelda II. Not a puzzle, but I can't get past the second #$@$#@% dungeon.

I am way too lazy to think of something clever.

Yeah, you're not the only one...same here. Really want to play this game, but jeez, can't even get passed the second dungeon...

Learn how to jump-stab the Iron Knuckles and the game will become 50x easier.

I dont really rember any puzzle being to entirely difficult in any Zelda game, unless you save the game and forget where you were, then things can become really difficult.

The one with the two statues in TP was hard indeed. It's the one that comes to mind first when I think about tough puzzles in Zelda games. Also, the Eagle Tower in Link's Awakening just blew my freaking brains out.

I know this isn't the hardest, but the one in Phantom Hourglass where you have to close the DS comes to my mind. I spent around 5-8 minutes staring at both screens until I figured it out.

How could I forget that one. Many people didn't get that. I actually had to look that one up on GameFAQs because I had no clue such a thing was possible with the DS.

Speaking of Phantom Hourglass, there is a stone slab on the Ghost Ship dungeon containing the wrong order for pulling the switches on that particular floor. Yet there I had no clue as to what the real order is. According to GameFAQs there was some weird logic behind this puzzle I did not get.

That one took me like a year to figure out. I solved it accidently by closing it when I took a break. Then when I opened it again the puzzle was solved and I was like then I was like YAY

@peoplewhoaretalkingaboutPHandclosingDS - I read about the trick in a review. Though it didn't state when you had to do it, I still remembered reading it, so for me it was easy to "figure out". I wish they wouldn't have said it. It would have been fun trying to figure it out.

I've always been good at block puzzles, but yeah that statue puzzle was a you-know-what.

Current Hardest Puzzle: Like many people, the PH DS closing. I was stuck on that for at least a week until I accidentally closed my DS to talk to my brother, then later opening it again, finding that it was almost impossible to figure out without a guide.

Older Hardest Puzzle: How to get into the Goron cave/mountain dungeon in OoT. I always played the game as a kid and never noticed that little, out-of-the-way crack in the mountain that was right near the pedestal area near the entrance to the Goron city...

The two statues on TP was the very first time in my life I looked a guide to pass a Zelda puzzle.

The water temple in ocarina made me swear quite good back in the day too.
