It's awesome because of everything and everyone in it bringing up interesting facts and conversations in this thread.

There is no set topic, we don't have to talk about X, and if we talk about Y then it gets locked or a mod gets a bit strict.

Okay, so here's an interesting question. Who would win in a fight, Chris from "Selena", or Captain Ron from "Captain Ron"? I'd have to go with Captain Ron.

Im having a test on Great Expectations tomorrow, otherwise known as the most boring book in humanity

I have the Charles Dickens novel, but I haven't had the motivation to read it. It's funny when you consider that I've read long books like Hoot and Harry Potter in the past.

at least those books didnt drag on. this drags on like molasses on an ice-cold day

I'm sure it's nothing compared to Uncle Tom's Cabin. I'm having to read it right now, and it just makes me want to fall asleep. Plus, it's like 500 pages, and when we have a quiz on it, they count twice as much as a regular one, so that makes it even more boring when you know you have to read it.

BOOKS? Just read the sparknotes on them

I'd have to say that Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is the longest novel I've read (at over 850 pages).

So where are the ppl that originally posted here everyday when this thread was new? Phoenix? lz? Gabe? TC?

I think the only book I've ever liked is the Great Gatsby.
