Completely agree! Also, I like the Lord of the Rings Trilogy and the Pirates of the Caribbean Trilogy.

Probably Matrix. great series, and a (unfortunately) surprising amount of thematic depth for an action series. directors could learn a lot from that. more high-action movies like that need such depth...

Lol, forgot to add the LotR trilogy, the Idiana Jones Trilogy (not the 4th one), and the original SW Trilogy(though Revenge of the Sith was alright). As of now due to interest, I will be watching the Godfather Trilogy to see if Its the best...

I think as a trilogy, it's practically flawless.

Godfather. Even though 3 wasn't that great, 1 and 2 were so unbelievably perfect that it still wins 1st place for me.

Besides--part 3 was still a pretty good movie...it's not like what Matrix: Revolutions did to the series...

The Bourne trilogy is probably my favorite, with Star Wars and Toy Story close behind.

Well above all it would be the foursome that is the Indiana Jones Saga from Raiders to Crystal Skull. I like all them nearly equally as they all just did a fantastic job of living in and spoofing the decades they're played out in all too well whether it's some film noir plug to red and nuclear scares of the later era.

I can't believe no one has said the Dollars Trilogy/Man With No Name Trilogy. A Fistful of Dollars, For A Few Dollars More, and The Good the Bad and the Ugly.

I'd say the Matrix trilogy, as I love hand-to-hand combat and slow mo, but I really don't care for the third one :/ The first one is awesome and the second one is great too, but the third one sorta just lost all that was great about the first two

But, once the third one comes out, I can EASILY say The Blood and Ice Cream Trilogy is my favorite For those that don't know, The Blood and Ice Cream Trilogy consists of Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and The Worlds End.
