Have you ever been to a dollar store? I'm sure you have. Look at the EXP Date on the food and notice how it's been there for about three months. You'd think $1 is an amazing price for a giant bag of Cheetos, until you see the EXP Date is one week from then. Nobody purchases food from the dollar store. You shouldn't either.

What Dollar store do you go too that has wii point cards (If you're telling the truth)

Well Dollar stores are cool and all, but there's another store called five below, it's like a dollar store, but everything's 5 dollars or less, and they have way better things like video games (Madworld was there once for 5 dollars) accessories, clothes, etc, and nothings bootleg.

Dry foods usually remain good for weeks, even months after the exp date so don't feel bad about eating something that will expire next week.

In Oklahoma we have Wii cards and Xbox cards at the dollar stores too.

But on topic, I do buy this nacho cheese dip they have at Dollar Tree but I always do check the experation date.

I go to a store called dollarama, lots of the food is still fresh and stuff, other then that I wouldn't think any other place is good.

Who cares? Most foods last way past their expiration date.

Lots of censorship here...

I mostly go to Dollar Stores for writing/drawing supplies and hand sanitizer. My Dollar Store also sometimes has repackaged Segas as well.

Sure, food is still edible for some time after the expiration date (ignoring perishables of course). Being palatable is another matter.

There's nothing wrong with pre-packaged food that has a week (or more — that 'week' sounds like exaggeration to me) to go before expiration. Try looking at your eggs and milk at your local grocery store, that stuff generally has a week to go once you buy 'em (especially if they're 'organic'). looking down your nose at dollar-store offerings is easy when you're a kid and you've never had to buy anything for yourself before, but for adults with some common sense, there's no shame in stopping by a dollar store instead of hitting up a full-blown supermarket for certain things.
