@Chatham: it was probably the weirdest King of the Hill episode I've ever seen. It really felt like they knew they were going off the air anyway, so they went ahead and wrote the 'perfect' episode for the Hill family, ludicrous or not. :3

You know, that was the best final episode of a show I've seen in a long time. In fact that show has pretty much maintained it's high quality in all the time it was aired. Great show and no Family Guy spinoff will ever replace it, in my heart.

@Rapadash6: it [King of the Hill] was nice in that it didn't need to beat you over the head with its humor, but there were also times when the things that were happening just weren't funny IMO. it was a good last episode, though, even though that kind of thing would never have happened IRL, lol.
i agree that The Cleveland Show does look stupid, but I'll give it a shot before turning my nose up at it at least. anything's better than The Simpsons. :/ :: shrug ::

I honestly never thought of the show as laugh out loud funny anyway. More like a light hearted jab at America's ever changing and fad driven society. I remember one particular episode in which Hank needed to find a new barber and he found one place in which he opened the door to hear a "DUNT DUNT DUNT DUNT" bass line to which he responded by closing the door, sighing into his hands and then entering said barber. Subtle but still humorous all the same.

King of the Hill got cancelled? Then where will we get our subtle intelligent humour?
isn't Futurama coming back? :3

Their not comeing back but the movies are spit into episodes and are run as a new season with a few more brand new episodes that arent hash ups of the movies. I saw one of them the first two acts wear fantastic but I felt disapointed by the third.
But I didn't watch it. I've watched the show for a long time, but never really cared for it. IMO, the only time that show was really any good was during the first few seasons. After that, it just seemed sort of "there", so I'm not bummed at all about it's departure.
@lz2009, malnin: you mean you guys didn't hear thegoodnews? 26 normal half-hour episodes of Futurama are slated for 2010, complete with the original voice cast.
