The kickstarter for this game just went up recently and I was wondering if anybody else has been following as well.
It looks like it has a lot of potential with some gorgeous artwork and a great soundtrack so I'm definately going to be supporting it.

It depends on how they intend for players to "Figure stuff out for themselves like in the 80s and 90s"

I used to travel the stars, then I discovered Earth, and these incredibly addicting things called 'Video Games.'
And they said you couldn't buy happiness!

...God, does that video attempt to cram in too much humor.

Anyways, the game sounds interesting but, as always is the case with Kickstarter projects, I'm not going to support it. Even if this does have what appears to be a great team that is already on-board, I like to pay for final products rather than incomplete concepts.

About 3k to go. I think this deserves a console release.

It could be really cool but something about the art really doesn't work for me. I said the same thing about Rayman Origins, but that was done too well to hate on the art style. And I don't want to judge this on art, but ugh...we'll see when it's out I guess. There's just too many games for me to care unless it really impresses when it's released.

I kinda wish they'd do a 3DS release, but I still have a good PC so if I decide to get the game, I'll get it on my PC.

My SD Card with the game on it is just as physical as your cartridge with the game on it.
I love Nintendo, that's why I criticize them so harshly.

When your stretch goals are adding an extra weapon for every extra 5-7 thousand dollars you're doing kick-starter wrong.

Well it looks like they made it with 8.5 hours to spare. Now to look out for the Wii U release date.

It's good art but... I don't like it. There's something about the art style I don't like, maybe the colours or something. I really appreciate the sketches, though (done by a different artist, that's probably why).

I kind of get what you mean, but most of what's on display is a prototype. . . .besides with the shift to the Unity 3D and the decision to display a 3D environment from an isometric perspective, things could end up looking quite different. ;)

I could see that working quite well, but at the moment, Unity does not offer a 3DS plug-in (allows a developer to export their project to a dev unit). Of course, there's no Wii U plugin either, but it's on the way.

Yes! I may not have discovered the project until after they hit most stretch goals, but I'm looking forward to it very much!
