Dissappointments: Nintendo fails so much. Especially in America - N64 wasn't this lacking in games. Despite Nintendo being ahead. That is pathetic. Vita is the best handheld ever and will own 3DS with... largely inferior versions of PS3 games...whee. Capcom becomes a parody of itself with greed.
everything else was kinda completely expected or I don't know/care
I don't know if you're trolling or being serious. If you really think the Vita will succeed with mostly PS3-style games, then have fun thinking that. And your comment about Nintendo being a complete failure reeks of anti-fanboyism. It's ok to have an opinion, but if you don't state your reasons to back it up, then you look like a fool. And no one likes a fool.
The fool is right though. >.<

I'm going to have to wait for the end of the year for this thread. All I've got so far is Radiant Historia being the best game on the DS and the 3DS's poor VC support. (everything ranging from releases to features)
Because it's ****ing Mario Kart. I've never seen a series be more stagnant, and this is the only review I've seen that has the balls to call them out on it.

Must admit, I handed the Mario Kart 7 review over to another person in the office because I didn't have the balls to do what Destructoid did.

Uh huh. Um... whats exactly wrong with this game again? If your going to call a franchise stagnant then at least pick a more appropriate one.

But he commends MW3 for doing pretty much the same thing,
Though I'm not sure how you can shake-up mario kart before its not mario kart.
WAT!

Except MW3 didn't have a gazillion problems that should've been addressed forever ago. You could shake it up by removing the Rubberbanding AI, which was unnesseary since Mario Kart 64. You could get rid of the Blue Shell and the Big Bill, which only serve to ruin- wait, why am I even explaining this? If you can read my rant, you can read the freakin' review, which sums it up better than I can. That's why I linked it in the first place.

I don't care what series it is, saying a game is bad and has a lot of a lot of returning problems before it even releases is pretty stupid.

Read the review. I play mario Kart with friends in mostly mutiplayer. When I want an advanced sim I Play GT5 or F4.
Best news is finding out Gajin Games has a wii u dev kit.

I've played Mario Kart 7 and I can confirm Destructoid, and by extension, Mickeymac, has a point. My own personal opinion is between Nintendolife's review and Destructoid, but I was deeply disappointed that Nintendo couldn't be bothered fixing some, now critical, problems with the formula.
And yes, I'm critical of Call of Duty for much the same reason.

Alright, I'll bite. Why is that stupid? Why am I not allowed to use my perceptive skills to make a predetermined judgement of something based on what I already know?
I find the review just nitpicking. The balance of items I'm sure, has been handled quite well. And Rubber banding and fixed races can be applied to a lot of racers. MotorStorm.
Otherwise he's just complaining about every aspect of this game. Hell, MK7 does new things and takes bold risks yet this isn't as good as he wants it to be. He plays too much Gran Turismo.
Which is dull and boring and stupid, too.

I hate Sonic Generations. It's just like every other 3D Sonic game with terrible voice acting, a story filled with holes, and broken gameplay. oh wait...

Perhaps the critic didn't like the game? What seems like "nitpicking" to you may well be deal breaking to someone else.
