I agree with nearly all of these suggestions, especially NaviAndMii's and G0dlike's, and I'll add something to this since it wasn't on this page and I am not reading all 51 pages.

Can we have PMs to other users and maybe even something akin to a follow button, where you get notifications when a user posts a new forum topic?

@antdickens forum post needs a preview before you post button so you can check spelling errors among other things

I think NintendoLife should remove the WiiWare and Wii VC forums here once the eshop closes; perhaps deleting all posts in those forums or merging them with another appropriate forum if possible.

How about an official Nintendo Life Discord server so fans of the site can connect with each other - with separate rooms for specific consoles/games perhaps?

@Bass_X0 I don't see a reason to delete the threads and posts. Merging the forums into one big Wii forum is something I'm in favour of too.

Any chance you guys could do a summary of whats due out and when for switch on your news feed? Getting a little overwhelmed with the amount of stuff announced, unless you can point me in the direction of a simple current updated list? Love the site by the way.

@Octane hey buddy. Any way you can sort this in order of release date? May just be me missing a trick?

@jimmyjames It's already sorted. Q3 means July, August and September, and Q4 means October, November and December. Not all games have confirmed released dates and may only have a release window.

@Octane all good mate, me being a dumb ass. Be good if you could have the confirmed release date games divided, im in the process of planning my next spend campaign.

@Octane I agree deleting the whole section seems to be a bit extreme, besides sometimes it's fun to go back and read some of the old posts.

The NintendoLife staff did a good job designing the website but I would like to suggest looking at some of their old website designs for inspiration if they ever need to update the website design again. There is a Timeline mode to help things feel less cluttered but I would also like to see other changes. I miss when it was easier to scroll to see the comments, the ease of access and having the comments closer to the articles made the comments feel more important, I also miss when the website was more narrow so that there was more space on the sides so it didn't look as busy. My personal favorite year for NintendoLife was in 2011 because the site seemed so simple, but that could just be nostalgia talking.

@NintonicGamer I went through the site's history, and I have to say it was absolutely hideous in 2005 compared to today. I did find myself preferring 2015's version over the previous versions, the 2016 redesign, and the 2017 redesign, so that's something.

Also, can we have an option to make the timeline mode the default mode when you open the page? I find myself constantly missing articles because they don't show up on the main page.

How about an option to close/delete our accounts if necessary?

But its a basic feature on many sites, and while I know Nintendo, and seemingly sites sharing the name alone, aren't known for basic features, it'd be nice to have.
