Hi, NL Team. I have a couple of suggestions for the site. They might have been suggested already, but I checked the existing threads and I didn't see the same ideas anywhere.
Firstly, I think there should be a polls section, where the NL team post polls for the users, such as "Are you planning to get a 3DS?" or maybe polls that could help improve the site. Seeing as NL is all about opinions, I think it's an easy way of finding out what NL users think. I've seen this sort of thing on other gaming websites and I think it would work well here. Secondly I think users should be able to rate games, like on a scale of 1 to 10. What do you think? Thanks for reading,

not really interested in polls myself; they're just more useless fluff IMO, and i never use them when i'm on other sites. as for user ratings, i know user reviews have been in the works for over a year now; maybe there would be a score functionality along with that once it finally hits. :3

I like the idea of reader scores and an average of those. It would be like NL's own metacritic and would be a nice feature to have.Polls ?....nah .Who cares if I'm gonna get a 3DS or not? just for the record I am BTW
What's this bit for again?

As someone who wants to see more discussion, the only way I think user reviews would work is if there was a user review subforum where each game gets a topic for users to post their reviews and discuss them.

Can we please have a new section for all the 'games' that are clogging up General Discussion? Thanks!

On the ratings idea, there should be an option not to show, because everyone knows lz will go around decreasing everyones.

I have a new idea. How about a thread where every week we do a popularity poll where we put one character aganist the other like:
Mario VS. Link
Samurai Warriors VS. Muramasa
Kefka VS. Seporith yeah for butchering names
And on some occasions we can do team battles such as the Mario Brothers vs. Sonic and tails
And lastly we can do a free for all for example Princess Peach VS. Princess Daisy VS. Rosalina VS. Pualine
This is just something I just thought of in my head and as a result, some parts are not completly skectched out but if we put some work into it this can be a great idea for the NL fourm.

@Gmls719 I'm pretty sure TBD already said polls are out of the picture.
I would like to see a page number when navigating boards or the "unread topics" page. It currently just displays "Showing 76 to 100 of 391, when I would really like it to say Page 4 too, since you have to navigate by page number at the bottom.

I didn't say they were out of the picture, I was just offering my own opinion on them. Ant said in the Have Your Say thread that poll software was in the works.

Also there needs to be a way to go to different pages at the top.
