Yeah I know, I'm just sticking up for my precious Aquia ; ) Anyway, I likewise don't "get" one game is so praised around here: Mighty Flip Champs. It's boring as hell! So linear! There's no strategy, instead you just wade through each level until you get the right sequence, then do it again from memory if you want to get a faster time.

My top 15 would be much different, but I do like that Photo Dojo is on the list. Sure, it's pretty shallow, but I can't think of a better local multiplayer experience. All you need is a DSi and a friend (plus it was free at the time of release) and you're guaranteed a good time. The bad fighting mechanics just add to the humor. It fails as a single player game, though.

haha, i blame the fact that Aquia is on that list at all — i hate that game with a passion that could consume suns. if it were possible to erase from my Shop history that I had ever downloaded that game at all, i would do so in a heartbeat.
Couldn't possibly agree more. I'd take any of the ArtStyle games over Aquia, or even my Mario Clock for that matter. Aquia was the justification for selling my DSi when I really needed money at the time.

It's very linear, but some people like that in their puzzle games. I would personally take Animal Puzzle Adventure over Champs if I had to pick a linear puzzler. I'm not sure why that one got so much flak yet Flip Champs was "the best DSiWare puzzle game".
BOOOO! I'm going to play it tonight just to spite you ! Best Art Style game on DSiWare (but you have to put on some good headphones and enjoy the sounds and music).
RE: Animal Puzzle Adventure
On this I agree. I never hear anyone cite that game in discussions, but it was a highly enjoyable puzzle title, certainly more engrossing and challenging than MFC.

@slidecage - Wrong. There's a series of tutorial levels and a place where you can set up different battle scenarios to practice and hone your tactics. Not very meaty, but it can help you develop strategies to beat nonexistant competition.

but if you dont take the system online there is really no reason to get it (right)
@slidecage - I believe it also supports local multiplayer with up to 4 people (possibly), and the customizable match place should be fine for a pick-up-and-play match every now and again.
Good list. I got bored to X-Scape after that shitty Earth mission so it´s nice to see it´s not on the list, hahaha. Too repetive game even for 8 euros. Photo Dojo is my 2nd favourite DSi-Ware title that´s on the list, Mario vs DK was also good and Shantae´s the best. Nice list.
