I already pre-ordered HeartGold, so one of you better get SoulSilver

Well I hope you don't expect that to be me cause I've wanted Heart Gold about since I heard about these games.

I plan on getting it, if gamestop lets you take back/change pre-orders.

Im gonna get HeartGold. The game look gorgeous judging by the screenshots. I will gobble this game up. HG mostly becuz of Ho-Oh and better exclusives IMO. WHAT STARTER SHOULD I GET??? Divided between all, probs Chikorita tho.

I had Gold as a kid, so I think I'll get SoulSilver this time around. The 2nd generation was always the best to me and I am really glad they are making remakes! As for starters, I'm going to get all of them but Totodile has been one of my favorite pokemon for years!

why does everyone want gold more than silver and why do people think dimond is better than pearl? i have both of the main legedary pokemon from both games.

I don't know.. I got Diamond, and I'm getting Soul Silver - I guess I don't dig the yellow color, even if it is just the box

I don't know who everyone is, but I like Pearl better than "dimond", and I want Soul Silver more than Heart Gold. I like Palkia better than Dialga, which could be my reason for liking Pearl over Diamond.

I cannot wait for these games. I will get them, beat it and then battle you all, and win some more.

Sadly, I'm going to skip on these games just because of Final Fantasy XIII and Dragon Age Origins - Awakening...

...I guess I'll just wait for the Crystal remake next year.

I doubt that there's going to be a Crystal remake, there wasn't a Yellow remake on the GBA either and pretty much all the new stuff from Crystal in HG and SS.

I love Pokemon!! I'm gonna get HeartGold, mainly because of Ho-Oh, but also because of better and more exclusives, and I had Silver when I was young. I'm gonna choose Cyndaquil as my starter.

yeah that'll be cool. but i'm gonna probably make my legendaries walk with me just cuz it's kinda funny to see legendaries just out in the open

This thread has got me in the mood to spend the next couple months finishing Platinum, as well as pre-order Soul Silver. I think the Pokewalker is a neat idea, and I owned Gold when I was younger, so I am excited to check out Silver.

yeah, i am excited about the pokewalker, as i am for the most part a casual gamer. but i hope it doesn't raise the price too much. does anyone know how much this will cost in the US?

Get Cyndaquil and raise a strong Electric-type for your rival's Totodile/Croconaw/Feraligatr.

Probably the normal $35 maybe $40 or 45 because of the PokeWalker.

EDIT: Just checked Gamestop.com and it says that they will be $40.

I believe The 31st of January to the 14th of February. Not exact dates, but a guesstimate. Also.. I suggest getting Totodile! Water water is fun fun!
