I've never really gotten into Pokemon, but this game looks really promising. Tons of content, charming graphics, interesting cast of characters. I can see how this could become a major addiction.

Where have you been the last 30 years of Pokemon?

having colloseum, firered and having played XD i already have ho-oh, lugia and the three starters and pretty much all the jhoto dex, but that means NOTHING (i seriously can understand why anyone would buy/not buy a pokemon game just because of that anyways, and i have seen a lot of people like that) i WILL get SoulSilver, soulsilver contains Meowth, so theres no real contest, plus i remember having hours and hours of fun with silver back in the day. I already have a friend who will get HeartGold, too.

Well, I'm 18, so for 12 of those years I was nonexistant. For the rest of them I avoided it, really. I never liked RPG's as a kid (and the idea of playing with little cards seemed lame), I hated anime...it is odd that I've never really played the games (except Pokemon Snap for the N64 which is outstanding) but I plan on getting into the series when this remake comes out.

Pokemon was created in 1996, so unless I'm really bad at math, I don't think that is 30 years...

Yeah I was pretty sure he was wrong (because I distinctly remember when the craze started) but I went along with it.

im so glad i got my first pokemon game when i was 3 which was silver and then my second game was pokemon yellow pickichu edition then my 3rd one was pokemon ruby (played that game to death ) and my 4th one was pokemon pinball (ruby and sapphire edition) then after that i got my 5th pokemon game pokemon red rescue team which is to this date my favorite turn bassed stratagy game. and my last one i got so far was pokemon pearl. i am so freaking happy to relive my early childhood memorys again

now I feel old.

Pokemon started in 1996 because I distinctly remember the 10th Anniversary Journey Across America being in 2006.

Who is going to use the guide? When I pre-ordered it, the person working asked me if I wanted to pre-order the Guidebook also. I thought he was crazy.

who would need a guide for a game like this? haha, at least not the ones who beated the game ten years ago.

I'm going through a spastic stage of pokemon hype right now. I just played through leaf green, and now I'm starting on fire red. I'm planning on having an only female pokemon team, don't ask why. It's no question that I'm getting heartgold, especially since it's the only generation of pokemon I've never played before.

So am I! I'm getting so impatient for Soul Silver, and now that a new Pokemon RPG is coming out.. oh my! I'm running straight to Gamestop for my Pikachu colored Pichu
