It seems the fifth generation Pokemon titles for the DS have been announced early.
I was really hoping for Orange/Purple, but we all can't be winners.

If this is real then I guess the main Pokémon will be Dark and Light like Palkia and Dialga were Space and Time, or Land and Sea for Groudon and Kyogre. Does that mean we finally get to see a "Light Type"? Or is that too similar to Electric. Then again, Ice and Water are practically the same thing, so I do not see why they wouldn't make a Light-Type. A Dark type already exists since Gold/Silver so Black would be Dark and White would be Light. If there is gonna be a Light-Type they should make Ampharos Electric/Light. And Sunflora could be Grass/Light. What about a sound-based type? Whismur, for example, could become a Normal/Sound pokémon. Some fans have suggested an Air type or Wind Type but that is the same as Flying so I wouldn't expect something like that.

It's probably real. It would make sense though with the revealing of Zorua and Zoroark earlier. They will probably be some of the exclusive Pokemon of the Black version.

It's "probably" real? I thought my sources were creditable enough, especially the teaser page from the Japanese Pokemon website. You guys are too skeptical.

I see a pattern with the releases of Pokemon. So far, it's gone in order of:

Basic Colours, then Metals, then Gems, then Precious Materials, then Shades of Grey

They never fall short of ideas, do they? Of course, I sorta predicted 5th Gen would be Black Version and White Version.

@Rensch: I remember reading a while back that the Dark-type was the darker polar-opposite to Psychic-type, and that Psychic-type Pokemon were already classed as being "the Light-type, the good side to the Dark-type". Plus, the Dark- and Steel-types were only introduced as a means to bring the overpowered Psychic-type and underpowered Fighting- and Bug-types to a more balanced place within the Weakness-Strength field. Of course, there already is a secret "Sound-type" within the games, as certain Pokemon have resistances or immunities to sound-based moves like Sing, Growl, Screech, Uproar etc., so maybe it is time that Sound became an official type. And as for Light-type, I think that could be a real possibility. I think "Psychic-type is equal to Light-type" is too niche for me!

No I agree, parents, particularly in America, will hope on the racism boat or as I like to call it, the S.S. Racist.

Today in America, there are still thousands of signs of racism, and there is no way Nintendo will be able to get this out without outrage.

Why all the America hate? From what I've seen, "racism" or more importantly PERCEIVED RACISM is like 98% (mis)interpretation and MAYBE 2% fact. There are certain people who will ALWAYS throw up the race card no matter what is said or done, just because they feel as if the whole world owes them something.

Besides, Pokemon can't be racist. They're too cute and innocent!
