Picked up a copy today. Got through most of the basic/turtorial levels thus far, and I'm liking it a lot. Definitely a good bit different from the regular Picross. Not a bad thing in my book. Love the quirky animations of the finished puzzles; simple but fun. Picross 3D does have a lot more charm than Picross DS.

Just starting to get into the later levels of beginning difficulty, and I do get confused at times when looking at the somewhat more complex figures. Being able to look at them in slices does work, but I wonder how much of a headache those hard puzzles will give me. It certainly isn't a game for people who have a problem with visualizing in three-dimensional space. I really wonder how reviews can call it easier than Picross DS. Fat chance.

Once I have some spare cash (and after I get SMG2 and play through alot of MH Tri), I'll try to get it.

I'm liking it a lot. I've gone through about 150 puzzles so far and have only reached the beginning levels of Normal difficulty. It's getting pretty tough, but I'm loving it very much so it's all good.

I bought this last week for myself and my 9 year old son and we both love it. Its worth $30 if you ask me so the $20 price tag makes it a steal. My son and daughter both enjoy it and they also really like the puzzle creator as well. Dont forget you can download puzzle packs for free as well. There are 2 packs of 5 puzzles each already available. There is a puzzle challenge where you can submit a created puzzle based on a theme( the first challenge theme is "Spring") I cant recommend this enough. Try the demo on the nintendo channel if you havent yet. Thats what made my son want it.

I can't praise this game enough. I'm at 186 puzzles completed (about mid or a third way through Normal diff) and can't stop playing. It's the ultimate "one more level!" game (well, 2nd-Ultimate, after Peggle =) ).

My Dad just surprisingly came home with the DS game Picross 3D from shopping; & thought I might want it! I haven't been able to put it down since; it's that fun of a puzzle game! I love the number system & how to make custom puzzles out of cubes & shapes!

I got it the other week, and it's real fun. Very cute puzzles, and cool format. I never played 2D Picross, but this is a great time. Good time killer, anyway, and I have to admit it's nice to have something a bit more relaxed in my collection that otherwise consists of RPGs and platformers for DS.

Dear Sega and Nintendo: a Sonichu game would totally rock, make it happen!

I have to admit that it's doing a decent job of rounding out my collection. What's weird about the game is that my goth sister takes time out of playing Grand Theft Auto 4 and it's expansions to play it. For me, it's not as good as Picross DS but it's still entertaining nonetheless during my commute.

Got my copy yesterday. It's a pretty nice game, especially for the price. I also downloaded the extra puzzle packs online.

I'm about a third through the 'Hard' levels. LOVE this game! I've been playing Picross for 10 years on my Gameboy, and this is such a great evolution. I'm also looking forward to the Color Cross (might try the DSIware first).

Does anyone know if ALL puzzles are 100% logic? I've been stuck on a few puzzles so far and had to guess. Went back & forth trying to figure out all of the circle & square combos, and just went nowhere.

And the downloads are great added bonus!

I'm about at the same point, around a third through the Hard levels, and there does definitely seem to be some where you have to throw out at least one guess at some point. But with a lot of the puzzles being semi-symmetrical, the you can narrow down the guesses even further.

I've only done a few of the downloadables so far, but have all the packs just waiting to be done!
