Meh ...i don't care... well,if they only did a port of Final Fantasy VI (SAME GFX as the GBA one has ,and i would be more than happy) and V and a few Zelda ports (maybe for DSiware ?) i couldnt care less for the GBA games on DSIWARE

oh ...and a few games like: Terranigma, Legend (or is it Secret?) of Mana, Lufia ... i mean, do you really want to have GBA games on DS ?? I surely dont...
... SNES/NES VC service, is another thing altogether.I definitely care for those.

And stop it with the technicall BS about DSi not being able to process/emulate GBA games do your math again (LALALALAALALALLA I CANT HEAR YOU LALALALALALALAAL!!!! .... rofl)

step #1 get nintendo to give us the sd card menu first so we can have more VERTUAL HANDHELD becuase if this is right 1 gba game is almost 200mb.

step #2 have nintendo give us DSI WARE DEMO's right from a DS DOWNLOAD STATION

step #3 ASK them for VERTUAL HANDHELD when there are about 70 dsi ware games available for dowload becuase they will probibly have made plenty of money by that time and will need a new idea to make more people buy the dsi and use the dsi shop.

step #4 spam the G4 forums with all the stuff i said we need it untill its overwhelming kinda like how overwhelming flipnote petitions were on flipnote haninita.

step #5 DO NOT! I REPEAT DO NOT SPAM FLIPNOTE HANINITA! NINTENDO NEVER LOOKS AT THEM!

step #6 last steps. spam all i said on the IGN forums becuase it will make it to youtube and thats are wishes come true just like what happend when people wanted a storage sulution for the wii

No GBA game is anywhere CLOSE to 200MB! Mother 3 was about 32, if I recall, and that was pretty big for a GBA game. Now, I admit that would come out to larger than DSiWare seems to allow, but then there's probably some new awesome compression technique that would make it a plausible download anyway.

@Geekmaster- While you are completely right in every possible way about not spamming Flipnote Hatena, spamming Nintendo would be ungrateful. They're the ones who provide us with so much entertainment. Instead of spamming just send a polite well-worded e-mail saying how pleased you are with their service and make some suggestions of improvements you would like to see. I'm sure Nintendo has a plan or a reason.

While I know nearly everyone else would love a GB VC I would actually not use it at all if it happened. Nostalgia can lead to complete destruction of good memories if a game is not as good as you remember it. Some of my fondest gaming memories were on the Gameboy and Gameboy Colour. Even now it gives me a crinkly mouth remembering my princess being in another castle and having to go through another world in Super Mario Land, Blasting alien bug after alien bug in Armourines, Even that glorious moment when playing Rugrats in Paris that I first noticed the pixels on my Gameboy and realised that's what made the pictures. But often when going back to something that you loved years later can leave you empty when it's no longer as good as you remember. Sure some games are always good but for every Super Mario 64 or Ocarina of Time there's a Body Harvest or Tonic Trouble.
In summary, To hold onto that life-changing moment that filled my heart with joy when my level 83 Pikachu took out Lances Dragonite with Slam, I would do anything. Even never playing that game again.

I could've sworn the service was confirmed for Japan.

"We really would like to think this is inevitable, but it's just been sourced from Nintendo itself (albeit at a GameStop meetup) that the DSi might be getting Game Boy and Game Boy Advance titles as downloadable DSiWare -- in addition to previously announced apps like browsers and calculators. This was heard second-hand from a Club Nintendo member, and Nintendo has pointed out to the folks at Kombo that reported it that so far such functionality has only been announced for Japan, but didn't go on the deny it outright"

Yesterday i saw our Nintendo Rep in my store (i work at Target) And i asked him will there be a GBA Downloadable Service he said that Sadly there will not be... being more than mad i gracefully said thanks & walked away.... NOOOOOO!!!!!! I WANT THE GB SERVICE Nintendo How Dare You !

If he were legit, he would keep you guessing just like Nintendo teaches all of their minions to do. LOL

So he probably wasn't a real Nintendo rep.

@ballistikboy: You aren't serious about that last sentence, are you? To be sure, not all Nintendo in-store representatives act just like corporate Nintendo. After all, it was one of them who leaked the supposedly forthcoming virtual handheld in the first place!
