This kinda thing with old shooter games annoyed me to no end. Especially when they only give you 3 lives and barely any continues. After so many screw ups and start overs I'd throw the controller across the room and say the hell with it.
I like it better when the game doesn't end until you decide you've had enough. Running out of lives and being sent back to the start is too cruel. I think every game should have the ability to save your progress.

Rhythm Tengoku (I know this is unlikly but I can still hope)

I didn't know there was a GBA Rythm game.

Yeah, it was a Japan-exclusive release back in 2006. Our Rhythm Heaven is actually the 2nd game in the series; I think Japan's name for it is Rhythm Tengoku Gold or something like that.

Europe's press release on Monday should announce what we are getting on Thursday.

So, the ten nes ambassador games are scheduled to release this Thursday yet Nintendo is being silent on half of them. I'm getting suspicious about this, you think they will hold back on this release? Will they release all ten games on the day itself or will they be released separately, one each week?
But, the games are free so I'm still looking forward to it.

Hmm, for NES I am predicting:

  For GBA, I think:

• Zelda: The Minish Cap
• Kirby & the Amazing Mirror
• A Super Mario Advance game

WarioWare Twisted would be cool with the gyroscope, but I doubt we'll get it.

@Link245 - If they're giving us Zero Mission, why would they also give us the original Metroid?

Oh no...I was expecting all 10 NES games this thursday, but reading it more carefully reveals that they're probably going to be dragging it out. 1 game a week..

ONE GAME A WEEK?!!!!!!

Actually I was reading both the messages from the 3ds and all it says is on Sept. 1st ambassadors will be able to download 10 free nes titles then later 10 free gba titles. That sounds like we will get all 10 nes titles on Sept. 1st not 1 a week.

Maybe I am wrong but where did you guys hear that they would seperate the nes titles to 1 every week instead of all on Sept. 1st?

We are getting all 10 NES games at once. O_o

As I said in another thread, Nintendo has said we will receive 10 free NES games starting from September 1st. There's been no indication that we'll get all ten on that date. I don't expect we'll get them all on Thursday but I can't see it taking any more than two or three weeks for them all to be made available.

Well, that's disappointing.
