Topic: Recommended 3DS VC titles

Can Anyone help me with deciding on either Adventure Island, Doble Dragon, Fortified Zone OR Avenging Spirit?

Ignore Double dragon, it's very short, Fortified zone is short as well, and so is Avenging Spirit.

I would go with Adventure Island. It's a very fun game for it's price. Almost as long as Super Mario Land 2 (In my case at least)

You see, I was choosing between those knowing they're Short but sweet GB titles. So any othet reasons why I should get one I mean all GB games are short (IMO). Anyways, you'll see me playing one of them soon enough on my 3ds. Isn't that right Connor Just like I said I would get Bionic Commando and Gargoyle's Quest.

Out of all of them I think Avenging Spirit would be the most playable; it's got surprisingly detailed graphics and smooth gameplay. The body-inhabiting mechanic is also really fun. Fortified Zone didn't feel particularly special for me, it's just a top down shooter. Double Dragon was cool for a little while, but the platforming segments are going to annoy you to no end. Double Dragon also has kind of a weird difficulty curve - The first level is easy, the second is easy with a couple of cheap shots, and the third and fourth are several times harder than the first two. I mean, in the third stage, the boss from stage 1 appears twice, and 3 stage 2 bosses appear at the same time! But yeah, tl;dr I recommend Avenging Spirit.

Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land

Gotcha on my wish list.

Get Sword of Hope II if you are interested at all in Dragon quest or Mother. The battles are very similar, and it seems to be worth the $3.

Never played mother or earthbound, even though I have a sealed one in my room.

You can just recommend the games you want me to buy in swapnote.

I recommend Sword of Hope 2 to everybody who likes RPGs.

Should I get any Kirby VC and if I should, Which ones?

I'd say, either Kirby's Dreamland or 3D Classic Kirby's Adventure. Kirby's Dreamland 2 is supposedly much better than the first.

I'd recommend Dream Land and Block Ball. Haven't played DL2 yet (North America), and I've heard some mixed opinions on Pinball.

I know it's not VC, but I'd also recommend 3D Classics: Kirby's Adventure from the "3DSware" section.

@TheConsiglio. Kirby's dreamland is very fun, but it lacks copy abilities. I highly suggest kirby's adventure though. My favorite kirby game was nightmare in dreamland( the remake on GBA) and Anyone who likes Kirby games, likes adventure

Every 3DS should have Super Mario Land 1 / 2, Link's Awakening, and Metroid II.

@PrimedMetroid, I have SML and Metroid II, so far. I'm waiting for SML2 and TLoZ: LA DX to be offered at a discounted price.

SML is more of a pick up and play type of Mario experience. SML2 is also a pick up and play experience, but it's more lengthy.
