Well hopefully the faster we get through the NES games on the 3DS VC they will get to the Gameboy ones.

IMO, it's the best classic Mega Man game. But I too would like to see the Game Boy games on the VC.

The first two GB games are my least favorites.

Before the release of MM1 on 3DS I had always wanted to try out a MM game for some years. So when MM1 came out on 3DS I got it straight away and I liked it enough to get MM2, after that I got 9 & 10 on wiiware. I've completed 1 & 2 now but I personally think 9 & 10 are absolutely superior to the first two. Plus it just looks better on the bigger screen. So yeah, 1&2 are good platformers while 9&10 are really great platformers. So there my thoughts of MM so far from what I've played, but this is all coming from a MM noob.

just recently bought and finished Mega Man 2 (absolutely fantastic)
now i can't wait to buy and play Mega Man 3 (appearntly it is the only other Mega Man title on the same lvl as 2)

i just hope it comes to europe on the same day, but the chances for that are pretty slim, i guess?!

I agree with you, Mega Man 9 & 10 are some of the best in the series. Don't get me wrong, 2 and 3 are great and helped set the foundation, but I think the series got better and more creative as it went along.

IMO, 2, 3, and 9, are the classic series peak. 5 and 7 I like way more than 10, though.

I can't wait for this! It'll give me more of a chance to practice a Kirby run.

This. I'm sure the NES games are great (and probably better than their GB equivalents), but after playing through some of my ambassador games, I realized I'm not too fond of playing NES games on 3DS.

My opinion (with no nostalgia bias except game played first)

I'll probably end up getting them all the ones released on the 3DS eshop, though. This series is perfect for portable play.

I surely will be getting MM3 when it comes out. Probably my Fave Megaman Classic title. As far as rating the games go:
3 > 9 > &Bass > 2 > 7 > 10 > 5 = 4 > 1 > 6 > 8 > > > > > > > MM PC shovelware.

8 gets a large undeserved amount of hate despite being an decent platformer IMO. If you want a Classic Mega man game to hate, go play Mega man 1&3 on the PC and Rockman and Forte 2 on the Wonderswan. Now those are games worth the effort for making bad analogies.

I highly doubt this game will get below a 10 because it's apparently better than Mega Man 2.
