Topic: Ultimate NES Remix

This is the next installment in the series and features 16 8-Bit NES-era mashup minigames. So it looks like they are new games or something. So who is interested in this? I am very excited for this.

This game also releases the same time as the "NES REMIX Pack" for the "Wii U".

I'm not sure what it is yet (in terms of content), so I'm reserving all judgment

I just want the physical release of 1 and 2 to come to the EU.

I think this just a handheld compilation which includes the same challenges as seen in NES Remix and NES Remix 2. Nintendo says it features 16 classic NES games, some of which are from the first title and some of which are from the second, so I'd expect the challenges to simply be lifted from there - but in handheld form, naturally. Nice idea for anyone who doesn't have a Wii U, since the NES Remix series is really cool.

It seems to me that it will be a "greatest hits" sort of compilation of NES Remix 1 & 2.

At any rate, i'm totally instabuying it.

I wonder if super Luigi bros is going to be in the game.

The article said it was a new entry. It said nothing about being a mix of NES Remix 1 & 2.

NES remix is honestly a better fit for the 3DS anyways, IMO.

That would be your first mistake.

First of all never go by ign reason most of their articles are just a waste of time.

That is not just an IGN problem. (This has loads of new 3DS articles with mostly the same content they could have used one and updated it).

No. The NES remix stuff are little bits of the games. Buy the NES one from the eshop. It should be labeled virtual console.

@MysticGengar Hi, I am new in the world of nintendo. I never played with nintendo games, I want to try the old ones, I bought ultimate nes remix, because I thought this is the old games in one.
I tried to find what you wrote 'nes one' but I did not found in eshop.
I found Super Mario Bros which is 5GBP , I think is too much for only one old game.
What I want to play: Super Mario Bros /the 1st/ and Donkey Kong /I don't know the name, when a monkey throw barrells, and have to climb on letters./ I played this 2 on ultimate nes remix, but those was only parts, not the full game.
/Sorry I don't know anything about nintendo, everithing is new/

@lanszelot Actually, you can unlock Speed Mario Bros. in Ultimate NES Remix. As the name implies it’s identical to the original Super Mario Bros, but everything is twice as fast. To get Donkey Kong (or standard-speed Super Mario Bros) on the 3DS you will need to purchase them on the eShop.

If you want a full “all in one” NES game collection, the NES Classic Edition is your best bet.

I meant it would look like the NES game, and not a another console, because I think you can get Super Mario Bros Deluxe, which was a port of the NES game to the Game Boy Color. Simply searching Super Mario Bros will pop up with the NES game.

Although, appearnetly @Euler remembered before me that a 2x speed version is unlockable.
