am i too dumb to find the vehicle from the cover?? where is it? i have seen screenshots from it but i never found it in the game. and i have completed it 100% lol
Did so. I mainly used the most underpowered car. So it took me a bit longer but i felt more reward. The only thing i'm wondering about now is how the StreetPass feature works for this game.

well you if you meet somebody via streetpass you get his/her timeattack records and viceversa
@6ch6ris6: I think it was in the car selection screen. But i'm not entirely sure about that. Too bad for the person who i'll surely StreetPass then someday. I only did Time Attack on the tracks with the CPU's StreetPass times. I guess it picks your record at random or only one of these three. Because if you met someone who Time Attacked all of the tracks there would be quite a bit of data to exchange. And it would get a bit overwhelming too.
not so much data. just a few numbers. you dont get the ghost data. i did time attack on every track. right now trying to get good times on the reversed tracks. i wont do the mirrored tracks. that would really be too much recycling^^ too bad my wrist is hurting. i want to play

I just got this game can some you people give me some pointers. This is my first Ridge Racer so I have really no idea how to play it.

throttle the entire time. when a corner comes you either just go in the corner and eventually your car will drift (depends on the class the car is and the speed) or you stop throttling for a millsecond and at the same time start to go in the corner.
you load up your nitro by drifts. there are several different loading mechanics. read the manual for that. just try out different cars and drift mechanics.
ehm...yeah just try it out and train. you will master it and when you have it is a lot of fun. i still play it atfer 30hours of racing^^ time attack is fun right now^^
To get a rocket-start for Namco New RALLY-X, get the yellow flag shape needle to point at the number between 9 and 15 and then hold the accelerate button once the race start.
The eshop update said it brought a bug for Ridge Racer ... Anyone got an idea which bug that was ? I didnt experience any problems with Ridge Racer so far even after the update from june the 7. !
any more fav tracks , music or cars ? no there is no option to stick the music to random , you have to select it every time :/
Did you notice that you cant find ridge racer anywhere in the eshop ? Any other 3Ds title seems present. Looks like its secretly mobbed around, poor one :/ As if asphalt 3D would be worth any cent lol ....
yeah sadly no ridge racer in the eshop. but there are other games missing too like ghost recon (european eshop).
i began playing ridge racer again. such a great game. it still entertains me though i already got 100% like a month ago. timeattack is so much fun. beat a few personal records today^^
Always been a RR fan since the PS one, it was one of the first games I played on it, games like that, Daytona and Sega Rally are a rarity these days.
Will be picking this up sometime soon as I have borrowed it from work a few times and always enjoyed the Nostalgia it brought, though it's no Rage Racer, that game was immense.
