Seriously though, if you've always wanted to get into dungeon crawlers (like Etrian Odyssey or Unchained Blades), but are nervous about the genré's notorious difficulty, get this game.
It gives you a good feel for how the genré plays, the battles haven't been difficult (but they're not boring either, since there is an element of player interaction a là Mario & Luigi), and the game regularly adds new puzzle elements, so wandering through the dungeons never feels tedious.
I just finished up floor 17, and I believe there are 60 total in the game.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate - Graphics are really astounding for a 3DS title, and the idea of a game practically built arount constant boss fights is very intriguing, but I didn't like the fact that the camera was mapped to the d-pad, and I didn't notice a life bar for the monsters. Overall it was fun, but not something I'd rush out for.
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow: Mirror of Fate - I actually really enjoyed every aspect of this, and will play it again. It actually convinced me to introduce myself to the series proper, & I'll probably DL the Castlevania Adventure soon (I understand it's not a well liked entry in the series, & I'll take that into consideration).

Actually, the no-life bar thing is part of the game's charm. You need to watch the boss patterns really carefully to gauge what HP levels they are at - and that will range from really small details like slightly discoloured fur all the way to stuff like limping and desperation attacks. Plus, the CCP will help out in the full version.
I enjoyed Mirror of Fate too, although may I suggest starting up with the NES Castlevania instead?
always thought I'd change to Gyarados after I turned 20 but hey, this is more fitting I guess. (also somebody registered under the original Magikarp name and I can't get back to it anymore orz)

I've never been a big fan of NES on 3DS (I feel like things are shrunk down a little bit much), and we don't have the NES game on the NA eShop anyways.
Thanks for the suggestion, though.

I'll be getting Harmo Knight on March 28th and maybe Kersploosh to go with.

I finally dipped on the Castlevania Adventure (I know I was warned).
Beat the first level. Yeah, I could see how It's insistince that all your moves be pixel perfect could be annoying (especially since you have the jumping ability of a rock), but the restore points alleviate it's poor design enough, that at $3, it's worth a novelty buy for those interested in the series or it's history.
That first boss was surprisingly easy, though (seriously, it didn't hit me once, lol).

I jsut loaded up 20 bucks on my account and will probably do so every 2 months. Haha I'm thinking of racking up all these credits until New Leaf arrives but darn it it's four months away and I really wanna get Crashmo. How long until the sale ends?
Today I downloaded Splash or Crash, Family Tennis 3D and Monster Shooter. The first 2 are great, not played Shooter yet though!
Yes! Some love for Family Tennis 3D!
It's surprisingly good! I wish there was a sense of achievement in the minigames though, and a doubles option in the tournament mode would increase the game's longevity.
Just got a few VC titles that I've been itching to get. Sor far I got Ninja Gaiden, Ghosts'N Goblins and Castlevania Adventure. Yes, I know the first gameboy CV title was awful, but I just want to have a complete set of all the CV Trilogies fr the GB, GBA and DS. It's not that bad though. Aside from Slow-mon Belmont, the game is a neat little CV Game.
