Here's a pic of my 3DS collection.
Will no doubt be adding a purple one to the collection if that colour is released in the UK.
Edit: Replaced with a brighter image that fits better.

Sort of. That's just some graphics drawing test code. Digger Dan sprites from the iOS version made handy test graphics along with some photos for the backgrounds.

Yeah, I was gonna say to look at the game just above Monkey Ball. In all honesty though, it isn't a complete disaster. The aspect where it uses wireless hotspots is actually quite genius if you think about it. It finally gives an augmented reality game some sense of where it is so it can say "Go to your mother's house to find such and such a ghost." Whule it is annoying, its at least trying to innovate the genre. I probably would really try to play through it but the actual gameplay of catching/battling spirits is so broken and such a pain that I can't even stomach it.

I've got no say in The Hidden since i haven't played it, but Super Monkey Ball's Stage design is completely lazy and worthless....It's like they completely dumped any sense of challenge for the casual buyer in mind which it honestly feels like it was designed for. Banana Blitz seems to get a lot of heat from the fans, but the solid reviews speak for themselves(IGN awarded it with an 8.5 for which i completely agree with!) and i personally feel that's it's the most gnarly and bodaciously awesome Monkey Ball yet!
The motion controls with the wii remote completely destroy the traditional analog in the intuitive and fun department for me and it just makes sense for it to be that way, and i absolutely got a crazy kick out of the jumping mechanic instead of constantly being restrained to the board. These 2 big enhancements breathered new life in the franchise, coupled with the great challenging stage design which had me on the edge of my seat.
SMB 3D however felt pointless. Where were the genious, complex and ridiculously tough stage design? There wasn't any of it....It as alright during the first 3 worlds but that's because i was in awe over the 3D effect. I think my other two problems had to of been going back to analog controls which for me was nowhere near as fun, and the jump mechanic wasn't in there either....The only redeaming factor was the 3D effect. Those 3D Paper pop out book 'World' introductions were off the charts, and the 3D during the actual game gave a wicked sense of depth. I still have it, in the VideGame Junk box of Donatello Doom. But I don't think I'll ever stick it back in my collection, it's a complete slap to the face regarding the franchise. I'll never play monkey ball ever again unless it supports wii remote controls.

I can understand maybe snaging 6 'different colored' 3DS's for collectors sake, but why 3 Aqua Blue & 3 Cosmo Black? Red Flame and Pee pee Pink need a little Digger Dan lovin' I'm tempted though to pick up another Aqua Blue, and I'll most definitly score a Midnight Purple down the line....Seems so fitting for Luigi's Mansion 2.
