You heard right, the DSiWare game Pinball Pulse: The Ancients Beckon is finally available for download in the eShop and subsequently, available for transfer from a DSi. This was very exciting news for me since it is one of my all time favorite DSiWare games and I though I would share this with you all. So yeah, if you've got it on DSi, transfer now. If you don't own it on DSi and just have 3DS, get to the eShop and download this gem (Unless you just wanna wait for Zen Pinball....In America that is :/)
So Nintendo is constantly moving old DSiWare games over to the eShop? That must be why I didn't see Dark Void on there until a few weeks ago.
Not constantly. There are only like 10 games not in the eShop. I don't really know what the reasoning or hold up was for Pinball Pulse but I'm glad we got it now. There are some DSiWare games that I don't think ever have a chance of coming like the Hudson published ones or Let's Golf. Not sure why there isn't any Earthworm Jim though...

I saw Earthworm Jim on there...
Well would ya look at that! I guess I stand corrected
Honestly if you are Pinball fan its probably worth getting Pinball Pulse and Zen Pinball. As far as I know Zen Pinball does not have a Greek Mythology theme, so Pinball Pulse can fill that void. Also I here Williams Pinball Collection for the 3DS is very good. It like to have lots of Pinball choices. Now Alien Crush needs to show up on the e-shop as a Turbo Grafx title or a new AC game like on Wii Ware.
This is great and all BUT I DONT HAVE ANY ROOM ON MY 3DS. I would move it over but it would go directly over to my memory card. Nintendo really needs to find a fix for this! I have like 20 games sitting there and don't care to move them.
Has anyone who lost this game in a DSi-3DS transfer tried downloading this? Is it free, or do you have to pay for it again (I'm at work, so I can't check myself)?
I am way too lazy to think of something clever. My Backloggery

I did not have any problems transferring the Pinball Pulse. I did hit a snag when I transferred Shantae. However; I did not lose the game and simply transferred it again.
That's what I wanted to know. Thanks Tech! I didn't really play it all that much, so I think I'll just say goodbye forever and get Zen pinball at some point. Sort of annoying that it wasn't available at launch. I couldn't really justify keeping the DSi around in the hopes that MAYBE a missing $5 game would eventually be added.

I guess I won't be getting PP now. I just learned you have to swipe the touchscreen to nudge which would be very awkward, especially when it's something I'll use on a regular basis. I already have Williams Collection (and soon Zen Pinball 3D) for my pinball needs.

Don't worry about the nudge. This game is so tightly designed that, as i got better and better, you really never need to nudge to be good at this game. and it has soo much to offer. for 5 bucks definitely worth the money as long as you enjoy tribute to old school arcade type pinball games. I mean i really really love this game. If you want to discover all the hidden intricacies you'll easily put 10 hours into it. and if you really want to try and get the 3 types of highscores it iwll take a loong time to beat me!! thats fur sure.. just look at my other postings.
Quick question. I transfered most of my stuff early december before this option was available. If i go back to my dsi and try to transfer again, will it allow me to just move that one game to my existing under the same account?

thnak!
Yes it will! I've downloaded more DSiWare by Club Nintendo codes, and it works each time. Shouldnt be a problem transferring again. You will lose your data of course - but I'm sure you already knew that from previous transfers.
