Topic: nintendo zone

I manage to locate my local hot spot and download Nintendo zone but there didn't seem to be any content available! Is this just me or anyone else had the same or is that normal

you have to remember, it`s just been released, so it`ll take time before any notable content will turn up.
i really hope nintendo uses nintendo zone as an opportunity to send out some extra stuff like exclusive swapnote stationery, and the ability to purchase pink puzzle pieces with play coins.
tbh, the last time i used nintendo zone, it just felt like an extension of the eshop and official website. so nintendo really needs to add something cool on there to warrent people actually wanting to use the service.

Yeah, The hotspot locator on the Nintendo website says Nintendo Zone won't be fully functional until the end of April, so it'll probably be Monday until everything's online.

imho, ninendo zones here in the states have rarely had anything of substance.

So what's different about getting online in a Nintendo Zone? I just thought it meant free Wi-fi when you were away from home. Is there more to it than that?

Nintendo eshop access
Nintendo 3ds browser
Wifi features for online games
Movie and game trailers & music videos
It also offers exclusive , targeted content like pokemon episodes, coupons & promotions from retailers, sports highlights, stuff like that

I finally went by my first Nintendo Zone area while standing outside of a pub. (All of them near me seem to be in pubs :-/ ) The 3DS picked it up, added the Nintendo Zone icon to my menu, but there still doesn't seem to be any content available.
