BTW, this was stated the day it announced.

That's what I thought. I specifically remember Reggie saying the game will have DLC stages, which would be both created and released after the game is released.

Didn't Nintendo say they wanted to give more support for user created content? Why won't they do it for these games?! T.T

i doubt we'd see official level editors for Mario games though - it's just unlike Nintendo.
Also - wouldnt that quickly defeat the point of paying for the DLC levels?

I don't care much for paid DLC anyways, its stupid...wish they would have done the level creator instead. And Nintendo in various games have allowed us to create our own stuff, puzzles, the WarioWare stuff, blah blah blah.

Yes, it was stated the day the game was announced, however, I'm not sure it was stated that we would have to pay for these additional levels. In the past, all extra content was able to be downloaded free of charge, like the extra stages in Picross 3D, etc.

As much as I'd love to see a level editor for Mario, It probably won't happen for years at minimum. If they do do a level editor, they should make it so you have to encounter them in the main game to use the object in the editor, so it'd be much more rewarding in the end.

I think Nintendo doesn't want to do an editor is because DLC will make them more money. I'd love to see all of the SMA4:SMB3 e-Reader levels as NSMB2 DLC though.

Well I'd love to get my moneys worth,so why not.

I won't be paying for additional levels. If they're free, I'll download them, but I'm not paying more in-game for something that I already paid upwards of $40 for. That's just ridiculous. It should be available free of charge, or at the very least, should be very very very cheap if they are charging for it (like $1.00 for a pack of levels.) I have a feeling it'll cost a pretty penny, though.

Level Editor is a stupid idea for a main mario game. Mini mario? Then yes, please! But no main series, it just ruins the point and doesn't feel right.

That being said, I wonder what extras will be included. A stage based off of SMB2 maybe? (The real one, not the one that changed a turban guy to mario)
