If it comes out on PSN/XBL, then I'll just get it there. I'd rather play it on a huge screen then a little tiny(but bigger than before) screen.

looks at first post and link G-ddamn, it's happening!O_O

And like Zezhyrule said, I'd rather have it on XBLA or PSN than on the 3DS.

i don't see a problem. it's a beautiful game and it's the type that'll translate to the 3DS without losing any fidelity. it's also pretty well suited to playing on the go, in fact playing in shorter sessions may lessen the repetition of the gameplay a little. the only problem is that being 2D kind of makes it less of a big deal that it'll have 3D visuals, but we'll have no idea what it can add until we see the 3DS for ourselves.

Meh. Muramasa didn't really impress me as much as the rest of Vanilla Ware's wares. Odin Sphere, now, that would be worth playing on the 3DS. Better yet, Grimgrimoire. A nice RTS for the 3DS.

That doesn't mean it's happening, it means "hey, that's a good idea you suggested there."

Hey Square, remake FFVII!

My brains would literally explode from the awesome seeing that art in 3D so no thanks. Cause my brain exploding sounds painful.

the way the guy phrased it sounds like this (fans wanting it on 3DS) is something they've been aware of for a while now, and he did say "we want to give it to them". of course, that doesn't guarantee they'll follow through on it, but they are making an effort to get it onto other systems and as far as i remember they never said which systems it was going to, so muramasa on 3DS is pretty plausible. i hope they fix those damned useless rickshaws.

Agreed. I might even buy Odin Sphere for the second time, and I can't think of a PS2 that I want to get my hands on more than Grim Grimoire. Maybe if the rumored download versions sell well, they'll rerelease that as well?

Well, Unlike Square-Enix, Vanilla-ware isn't so stubborn that the only remake they could possibly concieve would cost so much that it would ruin them 5 times over.:P

I will buy it day one if it comes out. I loved Muramassa on the Wii, but I never actually owned it.

Here's hoping! GrimGrimoire could really benefit from more multi-player capability, and the 3DS can deliver that in spades. Sadly, it sold about 1/8th of what Odin Sphere and Muramasa did, so even if GrimGrimoire was similarly developed in HD, it may not be cost-effective to port over. Odin Sphere 3DS would be likely if the HD ports sell well, companies like to get their IPs out on every platform possible these days.
