If you want the Zelda one, then yes I would stay the night (or even as early as you can get there) and wait.

With all the Zelda craze surrounding it's 25th Anniversary, that bundle will probably go fast.

Well, the stores are all opening at midnight. That's good and bad. Good because I don't have to get up really early, but bad because I would have to leave the Thanksgiving get together and go straight to a store. Actually, now that I think about it, that's not a bad thing...

Same here. I knew there would be a 3DS Zelda bundle. My prediction was a tad off- I thought it would be a special Forest Green and also bundled with Link's Awakening DX (With OOT).

Yeah, I remember hearing, or "seeing" you talking about it. I was a tad off too, I was expecting a gold 3DS. And to be honest, that's my biggest disappointment. I wish it wasn't black. The black was my least favorite color of 3DS.

I'm not personally interested, it's such a minor paint job, but for the benefit of those who are, Kotaku mentions it'll be sold at Gamestop and Best Buy. For those interested, I hope it'll going to Amazon also, that way you won't need to camp out for this...I don't really get camping out for Black Friday sales.

Also, is the 3DS-3DS transfer active already? ...I'd like to hear more details on that actually. ...like...how many total transfers do you get? What about Ambassador status and games...if the GBA games are not out yet and you transfer to this new 3DS, do you still qualify for them...can you transfer them? etc, etc.

We still don't know much about the 3DS to 3DS transfer other than that its part of the firmware update that should be out later this month.

Any idea how long they'll be making/selling these? I'm dying for one, but won't have the money for it up front until December... not black friday like I had hoped...

I'm not really one for buying myself stuff on black friday...
I mean, I get what you mean, but isn't the spirit of Thanksgiving to be thankful FOR WHAT YOU ALREADY have instead of going out and buying something else a couple hours later?

I wish Nintendo would just officially announce this already so we can know the specifics. In all honesty, as awesome as this 3DS is, it's going to be hard to pass up the gorgeous aqua blue 3DS. I've seen the cosmo black and it's not very impressive, and this just looks like a cosmo black 3DS with the Zelda etching on top. Hopefully the gold etchings and accents on the buttons will be impressive when seen in person.

I saw the Mario bundle 3DS in a target catalogue for black Friday and I saw a scan of some Gamestop add for the Zelda bundle. On the Gamestop add it was priced at $199. The target add priced the Mario bundle at $179 but there was no mention of the Zelda bundle.
As far as the colors looking attractive, if you're not impressed with the Zelda one already maybe you'd prefer the red one. It looks nice and colorful to me.

I agree, the Zelda 3DS is beautiful. What differing opinion are you talking about? It's the Cosmo Black 3DS that I'm not impressed with, and that's what the Zelda 3DS originally was before they added the gold. As much as I like the other colors more than black, I want the Zelda one because Zelda is my favorite game franchise.

Well, I wasn't serious, but okay. Personally the black one is my favorite, so this has double appeal to me.

As much as I like the aqua blue, I'm a Zelda fanatic and just ordered the Zelda 3DS on Best Buy's website.

Just got my Best Buy Reward Zone Black Friday preview. This price is correct.

I like it, but I'm finding it tough to justify spending $200 on it, so I won't. For whoever asked, historically at retail, Nintendo portables sell out...everywhere and realistically these will likely only be available for purchase the few days around Black Friday, you may get lucky, but you likely can't hold off on purchasing them for too long. You can likely find the rest on eBay shortly after from then on.

I just hope Nintendo releases a decal or someone that gets one makes a stencil or something. That way if I decide I can't live without the minor difference, I can just paint my black 3DS to match.

EB Games Canada has the Zelda bundle on their website and Best Buy Canada & Future Shop have the Mario bundle for pre-order too for those that live in canada like me.

Haven't been here in forever, as I got sucked up into iOS gaming. (Planning on balancing that with Nintendo gaming now...)

Pre-ordered the bundle from Gamestop, and I'm really excited for it! Saved $10 from getting the system/game separately, and got the coolest-looking 3DS created thus far, so it's a win/win. Feels good to not have to worry about trying to find one on Thursday. Only negative is that my brother got the same exact thing... (though I can understand why ).
