Topic: Is Mario Kart 7 a active community?

I was wondering if Mario Kart 7 is a active community, I'm planning on getting it since I always wanted the game & since now the game is $29 now I can get it. So can anyone help me?

Well since it is the only hand held MK community now that the DS servers are shut down I would think it's pretty active.

It's active. But the real party is now on MK8. I have retired my MK7 cart and I dont think I will ever play it again after the awesomeness of 8.

Also, yes. There isn't a new one for the 3DS, so people are still playing it. Although quite a bit less now that 8 is out.

mario kart 7 community will be active until the 3DS is no more. not everyone has a wiiU so don't bother mk8. i wanted to play some mario kart 7 today but i am too tired^^ tomorrow is another day

Yeah I am sure that the community had dropped some due to MK 8 being out but given the fact that

a) Not everyone has a Wii U

b) MK 7 is now the only portable online Mario Kart

The community will still be really active. Now if they come out with say a MK 9 on the 3DS/2DS then I am sure the community will become dead but you don't have to worry about that since Nintendo has only released one MK per system.
