I want to play a Fire Emblem kind of but I'm casual.

Thank!

It's worth a play for anyone remotely interested in the genre. Casual mode is available if that's how you'd prefer to play.

D-d-d-double post! Anyway, yeah, this game is worth it for anyone. I had never played the game before, and I jumped right into Normal/Classic and loved it. If you'd prefer to play Normal/Casual I won't judge you. (Well, I will, but silently.)

My SD Card with the game on it is just as physical as your cartridge with the game on it.
I love Nintendo, that's why I criticize them so harshly.

@CmanThePirate,

It depends. Are you willing to put many hours into it, since its quite a big game? You can play it in short bursts though, and there is a Newcomer mode (in that mode characters who died don't stay dead the entire game, with the exception of "wanderers"). You probably won't immediately love it, since you have to get into it. But trust me, if you got into it then its a really fun game. I didn't love it from the start, but I got to love it over time. In my opinion the game isn't as good explained as in Fire emblem gba. But stick with it and you learn it. Hopefully this is a bit helpful, and I hope I wasn't to technical.

If you've never played a Fire Emblem game then this is the place to start. Awakening is a fantastic game.

Awakening is possibly the best Fire Emblem game for "casuals." It took out the strategy elements in favor of being a more turn- and grid-based RPG. There's a mode where you can turn permadeath off (permadeath = party members permanently dying) and several opportunities to grind (grind = fight respawnable enemies to gain more experience points and grow stronger) via summoning enemies or copies of past Fire Emblem characters. The graphics are okay, but the art style and music are all great. It kinda has a slow start, but once you pick up the pace you'll probably start liking it more. I'd definitely recommend it as an entry to the series, or genre. If you do like it, I'd recommend looking into the GameCube, Wii, and Game Boy Advance Fire Emblem games.

Totally hit the nail on the head. Awakening is a great place to start because you can turn off perma death (which is usually the standard for FE games and can screw up your game permanently). If you like what you see in Awakening then you might want to look into some of the others which are a little less forgiving--Path of Radiance is my personal favorite.

Very much so! Awakening is in my opinion the most accessible Fire emblem game to date. Yet it does so without destroying what makes the franchise so much fun in the first place...ANNNND there is a insane amount of DLC content. I'm still buying map packs and I've had the game since it came out.
