Personally, I like both the DS and PSP equally. They're both great systems, with tons of great games, and their own fair share of flaws. Whenever I go out, I always bring both. There's no console war in my eyes since they both occupy their own special place in my heart. I simply couldn't choose just one.
ATM DS is the clear winner all around, and the movement of Nintendo to move to a totally new tech with 3DS has been pretty good and at the good time to render all the Mac new toys already obsolete and decadent. Nintendo has been demostrating a quite good "clinic eye" with DS. But it happens the opposite with Wii, where they already are the obsolete and decadent ones. Sony is already moving to 3D TVs and 3D games and MS will follow, so it seems here big N will join the party too late again.
I actually think PSP has more good games than the DS but yeah, DS won the handheld war and it wasn't even close. Sony put up the best fight anybody ever has against Nintendo in this market and it still wasn't a contest. I'll be interested to see if Sony learned its lesson or if the people at the company are dumb enough to announce a PSP 2 and try to take a stab at 3DS. It would be a very poor choice on their part.
And then there are people who say Apple is going to kill Nintendo off in the handheld war.
Going head-to-head with them is a dangerous proposition for Nintendo. I don't think Apple would kill them off but that is the one company that could cause some serious headaches for Nintendo in the handheld space.
Yeah, I heard that in every household there is at least one DS. And in every 10 households there is a PSP. So the DS beat the crappity hell out of the PSP.
