Topic: Best way to protect 3DS screens (besides screen protectors)

I just got a 3DS a couple of weeks ago for my birthday, and I really want to make sure it stays scratch free, unlike my DSi's touch screen, which looks like it exploded (although it still works perfectly somehow!). I tried screen protectors with my DS Lite, but they sucked, leaving bubbles and such. I really don't think they're worth it IMO. I've heard that putting a soft lens cloth between the system when you close it is helpful. Any suggestions?

Cloth between the screen and touch screen.

@Ragnarok So like the kind for cleaning glasses? Cause I have plenty of those. Does it matter if part of the cloth sticks out? Just wanna be sure.

Best way to protect it is to smash it up and buy a PSvita :3

It doesn't matter. Just put a glasses cleaning cloth between the screens when you close it. Whether the cloth sticks out or not doesn't make any difference.

If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.

mind you, the cloth-between-the-closed-screens trick won't work for scratches potentially left by old styluses/stuff used in place of a stylus.

Thanks for the suggestions! I will do that from now on. And @SMEXIZELDAMAN If you like PSvita so much, simply go to this website: http://us.playstation.com/psvita/ It doesn't take much effort my friend.

@Nintenzo I haven't really had trouble with the 3D screen, it's mainly the touch screen I'm concerned about, due to the fact how my DSi's touch screen looks horrible. But yeah, I might get around to getting one of those. Thanks!

I recently came into possesion of a screen protector. A few came with a pack of Stylus's...

I didn't put on on the bottom screen, only the top. This way, if something like a bit of...dirt and whatnot falls onto the screen, you can use your fingers to rub it of, and it won't leave a mark.

Also, cleaning cloths do a really good job doing their job. Now my screens are all shiny!

Thaaaaaanks for noticin' me.
