Topic: 3DS Update in November

Well, it seems an update has been announced at the recent 3DS conference. It will add 3D video recording, and new StreetPass Mii Plaza games. What do you think about this update?

I personally think it sounds awesome! 3D video recording would be really cool, and I've been wanting new StreetPass games for a while... even though I haven't finished Puzzle Swap and Find Mii. I think Nintendo should put new games in the AR Games shop, too. I've bought all the games in there, and they've already gotten boring.

I'm very excited about new Streetpass games, even though I don't get many streetpasses around here yet. And as far as video recording is concerned, I just hope it isn't limited to something ridiculous like 10 seconds like 3DS sound. Please let the only limit be how much space your SD card has on it.

But I hope the update brings enhancements to the online part of the 3DS (messaging, etc)

Seeing the recent video of Mario Kart 7 and how you actually see your friend's VR rating and it seems you can jump into a friend's game- not entirely sure though. But Mario Kart 7 is Nintendo's first online game for 3DS, so we'll see how that goes.

Hopefully the 3DS Video will go at least up to 5 Minutes, also I was hoping that Nintendo would eventully update DSi/3DS Sound to at least 1 minute. Also hopefully instant upload to Facebook would be nice (like with DSi Photos)

Me too. I hate Nintendo had to limit it to 10 seconds! Anyways, now that I think about it, I wish PictoChat or something close to PictoChat would come on the 3DS. And Flipnote Memo... when will it be released?

Yes, friend list pictochat would be nice. With custom lobbies that would let you add a title and attach a game icon to identify it (like favorite game icon) , so you and your friends could talk about that game, organize tournaments or just arrange online matches.
I wish they could update 3DS Camera, there are more options in the DSI for editting photos. For example adding a frame over a photo, and add it depth to look just like the Game Boy Virtual Console 3D effect.

Cant wait for the update today at a talent show would have been nice to record my friends on stage and more streetpass games is always a good thing!

Seems that the Super Mario 3D land was just a rumor... I have not heard something about it recently.

Yes, free Demos would be really be appreciated. I'm anxious to hear more about the details for the Mii plaza, the more games the merrier and more uses for my game coins. As for the 3D videos, its nice and all, but I don't think I'll use it much unless the recording length is acceptable (5+ mins).

I also heard that they will be updating the eshop during that time. I wonder what changes they will make, Account systems maybe? Nah. I guess its just some tweaks to the Menu itself.

Yeah, I was curious about the eShop update.

Hopefully soon so we can get a demo for Super Mario 3D Land a while before it comes out.

I don't really care for video recording. But the Street Pass games should be interesting. Would be cool if they added puzzles to the puzzle quest too. I've already gotten them all and their nice to look at in 3D.

I hope we get a lot of fun stuff.

I want 3d pictochat. make 3d drawings and stuff. And video chat would be awesome, local area and online for both.

It would be nice to have a 3DS Manga/Comic Reader.
