@Dalifano To add onto what Ty said, I recently did a 100% playthrough of the game on Switch and it took me 16 hours. That's me as a developer who knows all the secrets and strats. I think Ty's estimates are right on. Some folks made this and it could maybe give more info: https://howlongtobeat.com/game.php?id=43935
@Dijita Developer here. I wonder if the reviewer felt it was too short for a typical JRPG experience. But that was a design choice we made because we wanted to present a fun and exciting JRPG throwback but with a lot of the fat (and length) cut out so people who have busy lives and jobs can enjoy it! I love JRPGs and have played them my whole life, but it's hard for to sit down and start a new 80+ hour rpg these days. I hope people will find Shadows of Adam a game they can sink their teeth into. And for the price (and the additional 4-6 hours of side content), I think it's a great value
@BionicDodo Shadows of Adam is a "JRPG for people with jobs". All the developers are 30-somethings with busy lives. We wanted to make a classic style JRPG you could play in short bursts and one that wouldn't waste your time. We think it's a perfect game for you!
@Dalifano Developer for the game here. There is a lot of side content! Once you reach the end point I would say there is about 4-6 hours of extra dungeons to explore, loot to find, and bosses to fight. This version of the game includes all the DLC content we released on the PC as well. In addition, a week or so after launch we'll be releasing another free dlc update that will include New Game Plus (play through game at level 1 with end game equipment, but harder monsters).
