Nintendo is going to have 1 of the highest- if not the highest- rated games by a long shot going into the holiday season with 3D World, Amazon is filled with DOA PS4 reviews, and the most anticipated PS4 and X1 games don't come out until next March. The Wii U will be ok but I really hope at least MK and Bayonetta 2 get 1st quarter releases with DK and Watchdogs to keep momentum.
EA has such a culture of disrespect and it comes straight from the top. Some of the things they've said in public I wouldn't type while hiding behind my keyboard. It's no surprise that the average gamer can't have a civil conversation.
So happy this turned out just as promised. Having a ton of fun with the game and it's nice to see hard-working devs getting more out of the console. I've been around long enough to remember the PS3 getting bashed the same way and it wasn't until games like MGS4 came out that devs could no longer make excuses. Even though it's an older game I think the Deus Ex remake will help to change expectations as well.
There have been some ports that could have been considered half-hearted but Deus Ex isn't one of them. A better looking game that includes all dlc, changes based on fan reaction, developer commentary, and Wii U specific features is hardly half-hearted. I haven't seen many people complaining about HD remakes on the PS3 but it's now half-hearted when it comes to a Nintendo console? Would you rather NFS and Deus Ex just not be made? As a gamer I'm thrilled to be able to play Deus Ex on my Wii U and it seems like a really smart way for developers to support the console and get some brand recognition. Am I the only one?
Preordered yesterday at Amazon when I heard about this. Got an email today saying the shipment date had been moved up to between April 4-12. Can't wait!
Interesting case here. Gearbox and Sega had no problems ripping 360/PS3/PC owners off and all of a sudden they don't want to release trash on the Wii U? No one has stepped up to explain why anything went down like it did but they're afraid of ill-will from Nintendo owners. I'd love to know the whole story.
I'm not going to comment on the PETA angle but personally I have no desire to hunt whales in a video game. Now a giant octopus or some kind of sea monster? Hell yeah.
The game includes 4 dlc packs and it sounds like they're going to use the gamepad similar to Arkham City (Osphone to receive missions, manage upgrades, and map). Amazon has the preorder for $40 and I want to show some 3rd party support so I went ahead and preordered.

Re: Fez For Wii U Is Highly Unlikely Unless Nintendo Pays For It
Hard to believe someone close to him wouldn't tell him he's sounding like a huge douche and needs to step away from the keyboard. Sad.
