Most likely will go with Star Wars KOTOR. Tried to play years ago, but never got around to finishing it. Now will be a nice chance to get back into it. I think I am in the minority that just could never get into tje GTA games and have tried to get into SMT also but just not my cup of tea either.

Re: Poll: DOOM Eternal Is Out Today On Switch, Are You Getting It?

sinsalaca

Considering I still have to finish Doom 2016 that I got on sale a month or so ago not right now. I will add it to my wishlist and wait for it to go on sale and then possibly consider getting it. Switch is the only option I have for playing it. However ai will not pay full price for a digital copy of it.

Re: Poll: Has Your Family Bought A Second Switch To Play Animal Crossing: New Horizons 'Properly'?

sinsalaca

I voted for I wouldn’t buy a second Switch ion principle. However we were a multi switch family before Animal Crossing came out so that became a non issue. My youngest son and I both already had our own Switch Lites. That left my oldest son and my daughter to have to share an island on our family Switch.

That has actually turned out to be a great thing. My oldest son spends so much time playing with his friends that it has allowed them to build the museum and shop in no time. That makes them both happy as now they can really enjoy focusing on the actual game now.

Re: Guide: New Nintendo 3DS - Everything We Know So Far

One question that I have (and may have been addressed elsewhere), but what happens to all the games that I already purchased on the eshop. Will I lose them if I switch o the new 3DS or will I be able to retrieve them? Would like to possibly be able to trade my old 3DS in towards the purchase of the new one, but not if I am going to lose games.

Re: Club Nintendo Rewards Updated for May, Physical Items Return

Already have Kirby and Super Metroid. Don't care about Brian Age and have Mario Kart 8 preordered so looks like I will pass on any off thee for myself. However I was happy to see Kirby as my son asked me to buy it for him this morning. So decided to give him a nice surprise when he got home from school. I agree with others I kind of hoped that there might be some new rewards or hell even get items back in stock. Mario shirt has been sold out in anything other than small size for almost 2 months.

Will pick up SMB3 for the 3DS. Already have it on the Mario 25th anniversary disk so not getting it on WiiU. Also definitely picking p Golden Sun. I can still remember playing it on my GBA. My add Bit Boy to my wishlist and see what reviews say and possibly pick it up in the future.

Re: Review: Yoshi's New Island (3DS)

Well I was either going to pick this up or Rune Factory 4 depending on how the reviews for this were. With them being all over the place I think I may be going with Rune Factory for now and waiting for a price drop on Yoshi in the future.

Re: Review: Yoshi's New Island (3DS)

I don't know what to think know. I had been on the fence about the game as many others were. I just don't understand how the reviews can be all over the place. I mean it would be one thing if there were consistent 5's, 6's across the board, but there are some sites going with 7, 7,9, 8, even 8.5. Now I have to decide whether to give into nostalgia or possibly look the spend that $40 on another game and maybe wait for a price drop.

Re: Hardware Review: Nintendo 2DS

I'll say again what I said when I first heard about a 2DS. As a gamer I laughed at it. As the parent of a 5yr old boy who always wants to play dad's 3DS or his older brothers 3DS I like this option. He was rough with his ds lite and cracked the hinge so. Am hesitent to let him play either 3DS that is in our house. The design puts that worry to rest. Plus as far as only being 2D goes, he could care less. He would just get a thrill from being able to play the 3Ds games.
This build isn't about being able to put it in your pocket to and go. This build in Ninty actually thnking strategically and addressing an concerns that parents had about younger kids playing the 3DS. It might not sell like hot cakes, but I can pretty much say that I know of at least one 2DS that will be getting purchased.

Re: Say Hello To The Nintendo 2DS - A 3DS without 3D

sinsalaca

The gamer i n me looked at this and said what the hell are you thinking . The parent in me looked at this and went wow what a nice option for me younger son. My younger son tends to be rougher on things then my older son and managed to break the hinge on his ds. This model eliminates that worry. Also since he is only 5 he could care less about the 3d feature. He would be happy with the fact that he would be able to play the 3ds games that hid older brother and I already have. This will be getting serious consideration as a purchase for my son.

Re: Review: Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D (3DS)

Own the Wii version and I love it. Unfortunately so do my 2 boys so I don't get to play it much. I will definitely be picking htis one up so hopefully I can get around to finishing it since i never seem to get a chance to finish the Wii version.

Re: Surprise Discounts Hit the 3DS eShop in North America

Regardless of what the price is Order Up is a great game. I purchased it on day one and it is a great game. The length of the game and amount of content made it well worth the orginal price tag. At the sale price it is a down right steal. May have to grab Mahjong 3D. I am a casual Mahjong fan, but seem slike a great value at that price.
