I currently own Marios Cement Factory (unboxed), Popeye and Mario Bros (both boxed) and.... the special prize edition of Super Mario Bros in its Mr Diskun box, which is nice.
I tried running FZero X and Paper Mario, and it said they couldn't be launched. It pointed me in the direction of "Auto Manage" or "Use Data Management". Back to deleting again.
Looks like a bit of game rearranging to make sure larger games work.
I can live with alternating weeks, at least it's a predictable pattern! We need Space Fantasy Zone now for the PC Engine, I can't play mine as it's still sealed in it's packaging.
Hey Damo, I'd take the C64 over NES any day, and remember it had some of the greatest music in games ever. As Harry Hill might say, theres only one way to find out...FIGHT! Can we have the loading screens as well.
PlayerOne you may just have hit on Nintendos VC plan, a year of multiple weekly releases to build up a back catalogue(it does seem too much of a coincidence that the releases started drying up after a year of the Wii), then drip feed them there after.
We got a quality game at least. I'm afraid times have changed people, we are stuck with the single game release so there seems to be no point anymore in complaining we just have to accept it. Apathy runs deep within me now, it is gonna take a run of quality games rather than one here and there to restore my faith, I can see my Wii going back in it's box in the near future. I bet when this site was formed the state the VC is in now wasn't forseen.
It is worrying that not a thing has been heard about extra storage space, although this is Nintendo so anything could appear at anytime, anywhere. VC persuaded me to buy a Wii more than the actual controllers "gimmick". Soon be VC update day!
They certainly could surprise us, considering Nintendos release policy seems to have no known logic. Damo, with that last comment you seem to have an air of knowing something we don't...
Call me some kind of masochist but I'm really looking forward to Thursday, just to see how bad it's gonna get for us PALs. Instead of disappointment I want to see how far Nintendo will go to screw us!
Lords of Thunder, aarrgggh! already got it so thats another week I can right off! lol. At least we know theres 1 good game coming this month, great game worth downloading for the soundtrack.
C'mon Nintendo the jokes over, it's not funny anymore. I'm fed up of the lack of new VC releases, so much so in the last week I've bought a Japanese Saturn and a PC Engine Duo R. In protest at the lack of VC releases I am refusing to eat grapes for 24 hours!
I'm beginning to wonder if the VC will still be around this time next year, are Nintendo rethinking the idea? I have a plan, everybody who has points in reserve spend them, then by the law of sod loads of games you really want will appear.
I hope the reduced number of games is down to the amount of Wii releases, at the moment it's only this site thats keeping my interest. Thursdays are becoming a pain in the Uk, poor PS Store, reduced VC.

Happy Days! VC Arcade is great news, and that SD card stuff.
Re: Retro Gamer Magazine Interview VC Reviews
retroGAMER is the only magazine worth buying anymore.

Re: Commodore 64 coming to Virtual Console?
Forget Gears Of War 2, this could well be the announcement of the year. I'd pay 500 for those two games.
Re: US VC Releases - 18th February - Ninja Gaiden III
Chalk board? Blackboard in my day! lol
Re: Global Inequality on the Virtual Console
Great article, as always! I've given up trying to understand game releases, nevermind different region releases, it made my brain hurt too much.
Re: US VC Releases - 11th February - Harvest Moon
Excellent releases, enjoy North America!

Re: Virtual Console Passes 10m Downloads Milestone
I wonder how many downloads per console that is.

Re: EU VC Releases - 1st February - Adventures of Lolo 2
Nintendo could release a batch of one game for each system on the last Thursday of every month then we would all know where we stand.

Mario: They did warn us gaming after midnight turns our controllers into pumpkins!
Luigi: And I bet this picture ends up in some daft competition.
