Nope, they are all still $80 in Australia. Hopefully we get a cut on 101 soon. I really want to play it but it's still full price on eshop and in stores
@turnmebackwards @8bitforever I just finished 100%'ing lego batman, never had one freeze at all in that game or any Nintendo games. The only freezes I have had is in assassins creed 3 quite a bit with low frames and lots of glitches. I say that is ubisofts fault though for making a bad game nothing to do with Nintendo console.
"and the power button allows you to turn your Wii U off so you can go do something worthwhile." best summary of this game. why would nintendo even bother releasing doggeyoopsiepoopiepoop like this poopiepoop? how many other thousands of better games are there out there that could be put there instead of this garbage?
i didn't know punch out was a Nintendo game. but please not pacman, unless he was just a floating yellow pizza, he just looks wrong with limbs and a face! but id still rather more nintendo characters than any 3rd party ones
how can anyone want pacman in it? in my opinion he just looks wrong in 3d, in every game! plus he doesnt suit nintendo at all, none of these capcom characters do, just keep it nintendo only, sonic is the only 3rd party i would accept, even little mac looks wrong
its a pretty terrible position the wii u is in. since donkey kong nothing of any worth mentioning has released and wont be until mario kart, and then what? smash bros some time later in the year? then what? bayonetta sometime near christmas or later? nintendos got money in the bank, if people dont want to willingly put their games on the wii u maybe nintendo should pay them too just so we didnt buy a expensive brick for most of the year, its so bad that ive started playing funky barn... FUNKY BARN FOR CHRIST SAKE!!
Yes, nudity would not offend me as much as the content that is now already considered normal for games and other media. i would even let my children watch something with nudity (not porn) before letting them watch an action movie filled with murder.
the issue i have is this is an issue, but everyone is fine with COD battlefield and any other type of game, movie tvshow that is all about death gore and murder. this is harmless, they are not real people and if some woman is that insecure about herself that this offends her then she has a lot bigger issues to worry about than this game.
but either way censorship is not the answer, maybe some sort of education to encourage people away from this type of thing, they are only making games like this because there is an audience for it. still i would rather people deal with "murder simulators" before this type of content.
what i don't understand is, how is this considered offensive, but you can play a game like call of duty where you brutally murder hundreds of people and that's just fine. how is sexuality more offensive than gore and murder??
Surely if people knew the console existed ( I have never seen an ad for wii u in australia at all since launch, not a single one at all) it would sell a little bit better. Super mario 3d world is a great game but nobody other than people on these review sites would know that because nintendo dont do anything to advertise it here, they just put it on the shelf and expect everyone to buy it. Make some damn ads so all the kids can see it on tv and nag their parents into buying it. Surely this is something basic. It might be a different story in america but australia is by no means a small or poor country that should be ignored.
This is dumb. The best thing about the wii u and the only thing keeping it from just being an underpowered version of an xbox 1 or ps4 and people want to get rid of it??? What would make you want to buy a wii u if its still not going to get most ports of multi platform titles with or without the gamepad? Its already cheaper than the other two so I dont think making it lcheaper will help sales all that much, maybe some advertising would help for a start. Im in australia and have literaly never seen a wii u commercial on tv at all since launch, at the game store wii u games are hidden in a corner as if they didnt even exist, it is probably different in america but still australia isnt some 3rd world country surely they should be trying to get some sales here. Anyway the gamepad is the best thing about wii u so dont even think about ditching it, not to mention the whole console is based around it with menus and settings and such
"the one thing that LEGO blocks and Hot Wheels cars had in common was the excruciating pain that they both delivered when you inadvertently stepped on one. For kids’ toys, these things were brutal. Now that pain can be experienced in a whole new virtual way as Firebrand Games brings you Hot Wheels: World's Best Driver."
cut my toe open on one of those hot wheels when i was a kid, never felt such pain again

Re: Poll: Have Your Say On The GamePad's Role With The Wii U Virtual Console
The game pad is great for all these old games, cause they look but ugly stretched up on the big screen.
