One survey options I'd liked to have seen. Can't we at least get the Wii remote/nunchuk back? The Switch and Wii use Bluetooth, so all we would need are the infrared emitters to go near the TV. I bought the Zelda: Skyward Sword and find it impossible to play using the Pro Controller. And the Joy-Cons are too tiny and give me hand cramps (they are a poor substitute).
I was seriously interested in getting this...until I read about being forced to use the screen or JoyCons. I only use the Switch in its dock, as trying to use the screen up close gives me headaches, and the JoyCons are so ridiculously tiny that I can't hold them easily without cramping up. Pro Controller is what I use exclusively. No reason they couldn't have adapted the game to use it.
I've been on a Mario Kart fix lately, even though I suck at anything above 100cc. I may take advantage of Nintendo's discount and get the Kirby game for the Switch. I considered Hyrule Warriors but I already have Smash Bros Ultimate if I want to beat things up.
I raise a throbbing middle finger towards PETA for their appropriating a video game to push their warped agenda. Animal rights is one thing we should all agree on, but their methods are highly inappropriate.
That's too much of a stretch. And the stars aren't exactly aligned the same as they are on the musical staff. The bottom two stars should be closer together.
One update that would have been welcome would have been a way to upvote and downvote levels. When we play it here during 100 Mario Challenge, I'd say that we skip about half the levels we come across. The "everything plus the kitchen sink" approach does not work; just because you have a few dozen items doesn't mean you have to use them all in the same level... 100 times. And the automatic levels were fun the first time we saw them, but now they are nothing more than obnoxious. These horribly designed levels take most of the fun out of playing it. It is still a treat to come across the really cleverly designed levels though, including some of the puzzle levels. Still, there needs to be a way to weed out the worst so the rest of us don't have to skip them all the time.
