Re: Nintendo Outlines Developer Support, and a Goal to Address the "Misconception" of Wii U's Capabilities

real_gamer

I don't know why Nintendo just didn't increase the staff size. By increasing the staff size it wouldn't be: understaffed, no game delay, and still releasing a AAA quality game on time. These actions makes me think "why didn't Nintendo worked on the Wii U hardware more before releasing it" or "where is the Wii U advertisememt" or "why didn't the Wii U have the Wii hardware install from the get go". I mean these things are the most simple things to even think of before the GamePad layout so why wasn't it thought of?

Re: Nintendo Won't Be Holding A Large-Scale Press Conference At E3 This Year

real_gamer

...........I don't think this is a smart move. I think Nintendo should go all out offensive at E3. I mean all OUT! I like how they are focusing on the software. Time to let the games and the gameplay do the talking. No more saying how the Wii U GamePad could change te gaming world, let the software explain. But then at the same time why not have a E3 showing of the titles, some gameplay and have the direct broadcast go into more detail about the games? Well Satoru Iwata I like you and the DS series and Wii series did came out while your president which pushed Nintendo to new places so you have my faith.

Re: Talking Point: Fire Emblem: Awakening - The Big Casual Mode Debate

real_gamer

Had the game for a while here in the USA. I'm playing it on hard and I love the challenge and one thing I hate is that when I'm playing a level and I am almost finish and somehow a enemy defeats a character, it is pretty frustrating to start the whole level all over. I welcome the casual mode because it takes away that frustration.

Re: Talking Point: The Problem With 'Old' Wii U Ports

real_gamer

I think the problem is that the Wii U have too many ports and its at full price! Would you buy a $60 game or a $20 game? I think most would agree on option "B". I liked that they tweaked things here and there but the Wii U ports don't recive certain DLC (Mass Effect). Sure some games get a second chance like Ninja Gaiden (in my opinion I liked it and I liked the additional content for the Wii U) which got pretty good reviews but then they go to the other systems (Ninja Gaiden 3 "again" suppose to be going the other systems with the Wii U content) which in my opnion feels like a slap in the face. Not as bad the Rayman game being pushed back but you guys get my point. I liked the article because I can relate to majority of it. Keep up the good work!

Re: So, How Is The Wii U Doing In The UK?

real_gamer

Aww man that sucks. The Wii U has so much potential. I like MiiVerse and the TVii (I love to see people drawings) and the idea of five people on Nintendloand or NSMBU is awesome and fun. Maybe Nintendo pushed the Wii U out to fast? Naw I don't think so. I wonder what the NL staff thoughts are?

Re: 3DS Maintains Dominance of the Japanese Charts

real_gamer

Glad to see 3rd parties games on the list for the 3DS. I think if Nintendo update the WiiU to fix issues such as loading times, better navigation on the TVii, and so forth, I think Nintendo will be like "Told ya so" and watch us consumers cry with joy with the upcoming games.

Re: Wii U Software Sales Are "Struggling"

real_gamer

Don't forget some of the Wii U launch titles are ports for example:Mass Effect, Batman, COD, Fifa, Madden, and NBA 2K13. These games was out for a good while before the Wii U came out and they sold a lot on the 360 and PS3 so its no figure some of the games are struggling.

Re: Satoru Iwata: Customers Understanding The Wii U "Will Take a Little Time"

real_gamer

Let us not forget that the Wii U is able to (I believe) to use two game pads at once. I remember a article about it and I think Nintendo said the WiiU will be able to support two gamepads (I could be wrong) and Nintendo is looking into the concept of the WiiU/3DS connectivity so I think the long term in their eyes have alot more to come with big plans.
