Re: Review: Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection (Switch 2) - A Killer Kompilation, But Online Is A Mess At Launch

punchout87

Played it all day yesterday. Overall it’s very good but a few issues. The 32X version of MK2 (my favorite game) is missing the names announced on the character selection screen. The AI difficulty on the arcade games 1 & 2 is absolutely brutal. It doesn’t matter what difficulty you select. I could beat them on the 2011 Arcade Kollection release. Also holding (-) to pause sucks because it’s not instant and you get absolutely destroyed while you’re waiting lol. Otherwise this game is great. Hopefully we’ll see some fixes for the online play but that’s not a big deal for me personally.

Re: Out Now: Nintendo 3DS Ambassador GBA Games

I think the Ambassador titles are great and early adopters definitely deserve them for free, but since I just bought my 3ds recently I'm completely out of luck. Myself and all the other new 3ds owners should at least have the option to buy these titles on the E Shop. Lots of folks feel left out of all this new game excitement. It is a real missed opportunity by Nintendo. I hope they fix it.

Re: USA VC Update: Alex Kidd: The Lost Stars

Alex Kidd blows! I was hoping for Revenge of Shinobi or Super Punchout. I've been holding on to the same 900 points for months now, lol. I've already bought everything that's even remotely enjoyable. Damn you Nintendo!

Re: USA VC Update: Sonic Chaos

Damn, I was hoping for Super Punchout or just about anything on the Super Nintendo or Nintendo 64. Why can't they put first party games out from their own systems?

Here's My Absolute Dream List:

1. Super Punch Out (Snes)
2. Final Fight 2 or 3 (Snes)
3. T.M.N.T. 4: Turtles in Time (Snes)
4. Revenge of Shinobi (Genesis)
5. Batman Returns (Snes)
6. Starfox (Snes)
7. Sunset Riders (Snes)
8. Contra (Nes)
9. Aladdin (Genesis)
10. Double Dragon 2: The Revenge (Nes)

Re: USA VC Update: Enduro Racer

This is exactly why I just went out and bought a Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, and top loader NES. My wife and friends said, "Why do you need to buy these systems again when you can play all those games on the VC?" This is why, because of bullshi* like Enduro Racer. Now I can finally play Mortal Kombat, NBA Jam, Tutles in Time and Super Punchout as God intended. Screw you VC, I'm going old school for real!

Re: USA VC Releases: Gradius II and Digital Champ

Another weak Monday. I would love to see Super Punch Out, Revenge of Shinobi, Turtles 2: The Arcade Game, or how about the original Contra. These games were HUGE when they came out. What is holding these classics up? Also, I wish Midway would finally cash in on the VC and give us Mortal Kombat, and NBA Jam.

Re: USA VC Update: Sonic (Master System) and Splatterhouse 2

punchout87

Well, all in all it's still a great VC day. Sonic on the Master System is fun and different enough from the Genesis version to warrant 5 bucks, and Wild West Guns is easily the best Wii Ware game available right now. As far as my VC wishlist goes though, how about some Super Punchout? That would make up for a year of weak games!
