@-wc- I find your comment one of the very few comments here to make actual sense. PS2 was launched 25 years ago, and at that time how many people were playing videogames? there were almost no internet news or info access to what we have now, when Switch was released, the industry was completely different as well.
It's like comparin console prices of decades ago, like economy never changed.
But it's actually a very valid point of biased information for fanboys.
Sorry, to you all, if the same scenario would be replicated now, PS2 would have sold over 200m, but the scenario is very different where a ***** PS5 is on the game.
I am truly sorry for the people that keep hopes that Switch will outsell PS2, that won't happen. PS2 didn't sell 155m, it sold over 160m as Sony stopped informing about sales before the console was dead, as the 9000x model was still selling in emerging markets where PS3 was very expensive.
So, 21 millions the last year of its long life? we need to be realistic. Many chances are it won't even surpass DS, but we shouldn't feel bad, Nintendo did a good marketing job this time. Let's hope Switch 2 is as good
