I can’t wait for the NEXT Labo kit! I really enjoyed the first two, although lon-term playability was lacking for the Robot Kit.
That said, I found using Labo Garage for ”coding” to be a bit limited. But I am hardly the intended demographic and maybe lack sufficient ingenuity to come up with interesting projects that can be done in Garage.
I for one can’t wait to get my Labo Kits. I have every intention of being at the door of my (sort of) local GameStop when they open on Friday to pick up my preorders. I know what I’ll be doing all weekend!
Preordered PS4 version. Will change that to Switch version if announced before PS4 comes out and Switch version has identical or at least reasonably close release date.
@kepsux It’s $7.99 not $79. At that price, I guess I’m OK with using it to tide me over until Mario Tennis comes out. Then it’s into the trash for this dog of a game.
Took me quite a while to figure out how to use motion control on a single joycon to hit the ball. And when I finally figured that out, I was really disappointed to find that all I could do was swing at the ball. Moving my character was controlled for me. Ugh! I guess I’m glad I paid the meager $7.99 this cost but only as a stopgap until Mario Tennis comes out. Once I can play it, I’m sure this will go into the junk bin.
This has to be the absolute worst Switch game ever! Its only saving grace is that I only lost 8 bucks buying it.
I picked this up because the description claimed you could play using motion controls to hit the ball. Well, that feature plum doesn’t work. And the gameplay that does exist is pathetic. You can just stand there doing nothing and yet your ball gets successfully returned for you. No challenge whatsoever—heck, no player engagement either. Take a pass on this one!
Oh, great. I decided to try this out and now I can't turn parental controls off completely. I can disable them in the app, but I'm still stuck entering a dang PIN whenever I want to change my internet settings. How the heck do I turn parental controls off completely on the Switch itself?
